Waking up the next day was hard. You couldn't bring yourself to get out of the king-sized bed, and since you had nowhere in specific to go, giving in to the compulsion to say was oh so easy. Though you were in bed, that didn't mean you were sleepy. If anything, you were vividly awake and remembering every single time Hoseok's fingertips brushed against your skin burning memories with the touch.

Your cheeks went aflame and you sat upright to within he empty bed wondering why the spot next to you wasn't filled.

Hoseok didn't have to lay with you every night. He never promised he would, In fact... you don't even remember him coming back upstairs after last night. You felt your mouth form into a pout, why were you even thinking that it would be a nightly thing?

Your ears burned along with the rest of your body. You were just thinking of being with Hoseok for nights on end. Damn that brunette bastard, invading your thoughts so early in the morning. The covers were pushed off of you, by your own doing, simply because you didn't want to sit there while thinking about him.

You found a toothbrush and a small tube of toothpaste in the adjoined bathroom next to a small sticky with your name.

Fuck he was so considerate. -_-

Once being freshened up, you realized that you didn't have anything to wear. The clothes from the night before was definitely not an option.

So you left the room, in the comfortable sleep wear bumping into Hoseok on the way out.

"Oh shit. Um, Sorry." He steadied you before you could fall back. "I was vhecking if you were alright, or if you were going to sprint away like before..."

You cringed from the memory of running out of this man's house with no diginty. "I had a job to go to, and I got fired."

"You did?" He looked surprised. "I'm sorry, you should've said something. I would've escorted you."

"It's okay." You yawned and walked passed him.

The taller man followed you as you descended the staircase. Somehow, the atmosphere seemed a bit awkward, but that could've been you overthinking which you couldn't help but do. It's been a bad habit since you were first entered your teenage years, and all it's done was made you look like a complete fool in the worst times.

"So..." Hoseok drew out the vowel after you both made your way to the kitchen.

"So what?" You raised a brow.

"Last night... Did you like it?"

Knocked with speechlessness, you covered your face in your hands. "I just woke up! You can't ask me a question like that Hoseok." Your voice became higher with each word and your face burned absurdly.

"Did you?" He looked curious, as if he really wanted to know the answer.

"I did." It came out more as a squeak and your eyes dare not meet his.

"Good. I'll do more like that then."

"Stop talking about this."

"Fine. After breakfast then." He gestured to the food that you never noticed decorated the table.

"You made this yourself?" You asked, relieved that the topic of conversation could finally change.

"I did." He chuckled. "Just kidding it was my maid."

You paused on your way down to the chair. "Maid?"

"Yes, but don't worry, she's not around all the time."

"Oh okay..."

"Now hurry babe."

You ignored how hot the nickname sounded coming from his lips. "Are we going somewhere afterwards?" You honestly were planning on going home and looking for another job.

"Shopping. If you want to be my sub you have to look the part."

Okay so I already have an intro idea for the vkook and y/n story, and maybe I'll write it alongside this one. But I won't punish it until this book is finished.
