You were back in your apartment. Finally. You missed your bed, and your own clothes, and the nice laundry smell of the place.
It was that time of the month and Hoseok gave you a choice: to stay with him, or to come home and obviously you picked your house because, during your period, you were an utter and complete mess.
Hoseok personally called every single one of your jobs and basically had you quit because he wanted you to 'live like a princess', and the money he gave you was way too much. Everything. in fact, was too much. He was too much.
Despite yourself, you smiled. You didn't deserve him.
Dawon's voice echoed into your head slightly. "You like him, don't you?"
With an aggravated sigh, you shoved a pillow to your head hoping to suffocate the blush that went to your cheeks.
"No. I DO NOT under any circumstances LIKE that bumbling idiot!" You declared. Liking him meant that you broke the contract. Liking him, meant that he won this imaginary game that was going on. You knew he was attracted to you, miraculously but if you were the one to add feelings.
This cat and mouse game was over.
"I don't like him." You smiled to yourself before wincing because... cramps.
After taking a pill or two, you tied your hair up in a bun and was so ready to relax when there was a faint knocking at your door.
"Ugh." You groaned as you walked to the entryway.
Once the door opened, your dashing neighbor gave you the cutest smile ever.
"Jonghyun." You gasped, unconsciously looking around for his little boys that usually follow him around like ducks.
"They aren't here." He chuckled. "They're with their mother."
"Oh." You almost frowned, missing baby Taemin already.
"She just took them on vacation, so they won't be back for a while. I just wanted some... company?" He laughs.
"I'm sorry for not being around much. You must've really needy a babysitter. You felt guilty all of a sudden.
"It was no problem, I swear."
You smiled, and the conversation died. There was just awkward silence.
"Would you like to come in?" You pushed away a stray piece of hair.
Jonghyun stepped in the small apartment room.
"Wow it smells good in here." He sniffed.
"I know right. Would you like any water... or juice?"
"It's perfectly fine I just wanted to see you."
Your cheeks burned red from the statement, and you remembered the brief kiss you twice shared on his couch weeks ago. You couldn't respond, instead you just glided to your sofa with the man following behind you. His confession was brought back to mind. Right... He likes you.
You doorbell rang again.
"It's visit me day, apparently." You muttered, and went to open the door.
"Hey beautiful!" Seulgi, your old roommate, practically jumped on you for a hug and you couldn't help but hug her back tightly.
"Oh my God, I miss you so much." Your squeal was loud but you didn't care. It took a while for her to pull off of you, and when she did, you placed her to the side to give her a good look.
She had gotten taller... Or maybe it was the 2 inch heels she was magically spotting. A designer purse laid at her side and that beautiful, majestic wedding ring tightly secured around her finger.
"You look so grown." You noted.
"We need to catch up, sorry I've been unresponsive lately." Seulgi closed the door behind her. "We can talk over some tea and-"
Seulgi eyed the man on your couch with a smirk. "I knew you and Jonghyun would hit it off. I was in the way right? You both should've told me sooner, I wouldve moved out a long time ago."
Jonghyun's cheeks seemed to flush. "No- its like that!"
Your eyes widened. "We aren't-"
Seulgi puts her hand up. "Save face guys... It's okay."
"Seulgi." You practically whined and covered your face in your hands.
Your doorbell rang...
"What the fuck?" You furrowed your brows. Who else is going to show up? The prime minister?
Seulgi took it upon herself to open the door. "Oooh a dozen roses?" Your ex-roommate returned with the thorn-less flowers held tightly in one hand, and a golden card in the other.
"Oh my G-" Your eyes widened once you realized who could've possibly sent those.
Seulgi coughed. "Dear Babygirl, I can't wait for the week to be over and I can see your sexy little body again..."
You tried to grab the devilish little thing so you could rip it to shreds then burn it to keep her from reading. However, the sadistic little bitch only moved from your grasp and continued reading. Jonghyun was probably so disappointed as he sat their awkwardly on the couch.
"... Master misses you so damn much." She squealed in delight. "Master!?"
Jonghyun started to choke which gave you the chance to snatch the letter.
"This isn't for me. Wrong address." You stuttered. Nailed it.
Your unnie was close to bursting into giggles. "Suuure." Her mischevious eyes almost made you cry. Your head hung down in shame as you made your way to the couch to sit beside Jonghyun. The man patted your head reassuringly.
"There there."
Seulgi soon sat beside you. "It's probably not yours anyways." Her voice was cheerful, but you knew she was only saying that because your extremely cute neighbor was beside you. You knew, that you've been caught.
