As I try to call him I get a notification from Facebook. I shift my attention to my phone and look at the illuminated screen.

Erwin Jaeger has sent you a friend request.

I tap on the icon and I view his profile. I don't think I know him but my curiosity gets the best of me, of course, so I accept him and text him. 

Hey... So I wanted to ask you, do you know me?

He immediately texted back as if he was expecting me to text him.

Oh yeah! Don't you remember me?

Uh... No. Sorry. Did I meet you during that seminar
in Berlin? Your name is German that's why I ask.

Yeah! Man... I am disappointed you don't remember me.

 I even gave you a tour!

Yes, I did. You have an awful memory.

Well, why did you send me a request so suddenly after all this time?
I mean, I went to Berlin was 2 years ago.

I adjust in my seat, feeling a bit more curious. There is no way that this guy was who he was. I mean, Annie couldn't have lied about something as serious as this. I suddenly became more wary of this person.

No, it can't possibly say something like that.

I will play dumb for a bit. That person might spill the beans if I act like this.

Okay, what the hell? 

Why does this person know my address? And even if a program gave him the address, how does he know it is my house? And most importantly, why didn't he report it missing and searched it in the airport 'lost and found' section?

I immediately unfriend and block the person. Ι know this is the most childish thing to do and I hate to admit that he's right, but I should have been more careful. Also, the police? Really? What the hell will I say?
