I got my tray and sat down. I was still crying a bit.

"That meeting was kinda fast," Maud said.

"Grandma let me leave early."

They noticed I've been crying.

"What's the matter, you're crying?"

"I broke down in front of The Grand Wizard. He said wanted to speak to me during the meeting, he asked Miss. Hardbroom if she had anything nice to say. She was hesitant at first which made me feel sad, she said I was a bit rebellious but more intelligent then the average student. I realized that she really cares about us. I learned the lesson. I asked for permission to leave, Miss. Hardbroom accused me of just trying to get out of it. I got angry and spoke my mind, why I'm here and my opinions about Grandma, Miss. Hardbroom, and Ethel, and you two. Then I asked to leave and Grandma said yes."

"Opinion about us?"

"Yeah, you're my best friends, you two make my stay here more bearable."

They smiled.

"You broke down in front of The Grand Wizard, you must've been embarrassed."

"I wasn't, my Grandma had the look on her face like 'you have embarrassed me."

The next day was Halloween, the cat ceremony was after breakfast. We were in line to get our cats. I was next in line. Grandma gave me an adorable black cat.

Miss. Hardbroom nodded and mouthed 'congratulations,' Mildred was right after me, she got a lighter cat, that cat was a special needs cat. That was very insulting to me but I didn't say anything. My cat was normal. She was so cute. We were all walking outside to practice broom flying with the cats perched.

"What are you gonna name your cat?" Maud asked Mildred.

"Plucky," Mildred replied as she gave Plucky a little kiss.

"What about yours?" Maud asked me.

"Well, either Ebony or Count Chocula."

"Is it a boy or a girl?"

I lifted my cat to see it's you know what.

"A girl, so Ebony it is."

Miss. Spellbinder was waiting for us.

"Alright girls, time for flying practice. First of all, get your cats to perch."

My cat was successfully perched on my broom. Mildred was struggling with hers.

"Mildred come here please," Miss. Spellbinder said.

Mildred walked to her.

"Let me see your cat."

Mildred lifted her cat up a bit, Plucky was twitching a bit.

"It's a special needs cat. I guess for the time being, your cat will ride in your satchel."

She nodded.

"Go ahead and practice girls, fly around the school, just don't get too far away."

I flew around for a bit. I saw someone in the distance, in the woods. Where great aunt Agatha and her bad witch friends hang out. I decided to fly over there and pay her a small visit.
