It had been three hours and I was now panicking. I wasn't one to keep Yoongi cooped up in a the house. Unfortunately when he would go out on his own he had to keep his ID tags around his neck (they are like traditional dog tags people would wear in the military) or else he could get pick up by the SHRA also known as the Stray Hybrid Relocation Association. They were in charge of making sure that stray hybrids were roaming around on the streets. Although there were quite a few still out there as they tended to hide and come out at night. I'd actually seen a few of them on occasion.
Yoongi would usually be home before 11pm or at least let me know if he was going to be out late than that. Sometimes he would be working late in his new studio. He had gotten his own studio to produce and write music. There were plenty of nights where he would actually spend the night working in his studio...but he always told me! It had been three hours now...It was 2am and I still had no idea where he was ... not text, no call, nothing. I called the music company he works at and they said that he had left around 11:30pm. I called Mi-lin and asked if she had seen him and she hadn't. I called Namjoon, Ju-min, Jimin, Jungkook, and Jin. No one had seen or heard from him. I was freaking out. I kept calling and texting him only to get no response. It was then when I decided I was going to look for him myself. I called HCA, the Hybrid Control Association, which was in charge of missing, lost, stolen, or out of control hybrids. They put out a notice for them to be on the look out for Yoongi. I pulled my coat around me as I went out into the night. I went on foot as I knew that the company wasn't more than a half hour walk on foot. It was dark, and cold. I normally would be terrified to be out on my own at this time of night. I tried not to think about it as I was looking for him.
It wasn't until I heard a crash on of the alley that I was really freaked out. I knew it was probably stupid but I went to investigate. I turned the flashlight on my phone on as I cautiously walked into the darken alleyway. I didn't say anything as I had seen enough horror movies to never just say "hello". Its not like a murder is going to answer you nicely. I found what had been knocked over. A couple of trash bins and some boxes that were left outside of some of the businesses. I bent down and tipped the cans back up to how they were supposed to be and also put the boxes back. I bent down to lift the last box when I felt a hand grab my shoulder and I shot up like a rocket and spun around to see who it was. I had big eyes a terror...before I saw who it was.
"Yoongi..." I started in relief before his hand covered my mouth to stop me.
"Shh...what the hell are you doing out here?" he hissed in a whisper. I looked at him in confusion before I reached up and took his hand off of my mouth.
"Looking for you, asshole. Where the hell have you been? I've been looking for you for hours!" I hissed back. His eyes soften slightly at my response. "Why are you creeping in this dark alley in the middle of the night by yourself?" Yoongi seemed to be looking around. His eyes flicking to every corner.
"Not here." he said quickly before pulling me away and out of the alley. I felt myself being dragged along behind him.
"Yoongi, what are we doing! What the hell is going on!" I hissed at him as he dragged me towards one of the few bars that was still open at this time of night. As soon as we were inside Yoongi dragged me over to one of the open booths in the corner, away from few people that were still lingering in the barren bar. I looked at him waiting for him to start explaining what was going on.
"Where were you? MIN YOONGI! I was worried sick! No call, no note! Nothing! You should have told someone something! You should have told me something!" I choked out at him in a hushed tone as to try and not attract attention to us. I could feel tears clouding my vision.
"Hey, hey. Please...please don't cry." whispered Yoongi softly as I felt him gently wipe the tears off my cheeks with his thumbs.
"What's going on, Yoongi?" I asked again. He let out a long sigh and began to avoid my eyes.
"I....I don't want to get you involved...so please...please don't ask me to tell you. Just trust me okay?" he pleaded finally looking at me again, desperate. It took me a moment before I came to an assumption.
"Its about Taehyung isn't it." I said softly. He looked down at his hands before nodding slightly. I reached out and gently laid my hand on his forearm.
"Yoongi, its not your fault. There was nothing you could have done. Hoseok is still looking at trying to get him back..." I trailed.
"I know, but I can do something now." he said firmly looking me in the eyes as he grabbed my wrist. "I know what it is like down there. I know what they make you do, how they treat you. (Y/N... They. Will. Break. Taehyung." He hissed out with hard eyes. I felt fear flood through me at the look in his eyes. It was like he was more animal that human...and it scared me.
"Yoongi..." I said nervously. "Can you please let go of my wrist?" I asked quietly. He blinked for a moment before quickly letting go. I could tell he felt suddenly guilty as he watched me rub my now slightly throbbing wrist.
"Lets...lets just go home. Its been a long night. I don't want to talk about this anymore right now." I finally said as I stood up and slid out of the booth. Yoongi followed in suit as he caught up behind me. I felt his hand brush against mine as he tried to hold my hand as we walked back. I moved my hand and put them in the pockets of my coat. I didn't say anything, but I could feel the tension in the air. We walked back home in silence. We got into the house and I went to change into pajamas. It was around 5am now and I was exhausted mentally, emotionally, and physically. I didn't say a word...or even look much at Yoongi as I got ready for bed. I slipped under the covers with my back to him as I fell asleep. It was the first night that Yoongi went and slept in his own room.
