«grammar»
6/10
-there were a few typos which happens, but there was a lot of changes in tenses. Meaning the sentence could start in the present tense, but then jump to past tense when still on the same subject. It may be the teacher in me jumping out but that's how I feel.

«character development»
8/10
-Marion is an interesting gal with set goals she wants to reach, as all well written characters should. It does get jumpy at times when talking about what she does and wants to do in life, but that is a transition issue. I also can't wait to learn more and more about the kids.

«aesthetics»
9/10
-the structure of how the chapters are set up are very simple and sweet, and that's all I need to see. The cover is absolutely beautiful as well.

«writing style»
5/10
-the transitions. Oof. There were times I had to reread and make sure I knew what was going on. I had a hard time seeing time jumps and transitions because it was so streamlined into one chapter. It does take a little bit of the meaningfulness away because of that. I enjoy that the chapters are short and sweet just because I have the attention span of a goldfish, but the story never droned on.

«plot»
7/10
-I'd rate this a little higher but the story is unfinished. This plot is very original and very interesting, and it has me waiting for more. This is not a plot I have seen before, which gives this serious brownie points. I'm anticipating learning more about all of the original characters and seeing how it all ends up in the present days. Well done!

Hey, excellent work. It's been hard to get me hooked on a lot of stories and you have me waiting for what's next. There is always going to be room for improvement, and you can only go up from here. 😌
