Jonah's POV
"Amber" we both said
"What are you doing here?" Andi asked.
As Amber walked into the light, I could see that mascara was running down her cheeks, her eyes were puffy, and her nose was red. I started feeling bad for her, but I don't think I can forgive her for what she did. I heard Andi gasp next to me.
In an instant, Andi ran up to Amber, gave her a hug, and asked her what happened. Sometimes I find it so crazy how despite everything she has been through Andi still feels the need to be kind to everyone.
"Are you ok?" Andi said in a genuinely worried tone.
I saw Amber shake her head. Andi hugged her once more and Amber started sobbing again.
After a while, Amber said, "I know you hate me, but can I please stay at your house, please don't make me go home."
Andi said, "Yes, of course. But you have to tell me what is going on when we get there."
"Um, Andi I don't think that's a good idea." I say.
Andi gives me the most evil look then turns back to Amber. Geez, if looks could kill. My gosh!
Andi started walking with Amber. While Andi walked by me, she gently elbowed me and smiled. I caught up to them and grabbed Andi's hand.
Oh, how I can only hope this night doesn't turn into a disaster.
