Something Special

Suyoung parked her car and we entered the shopping centre.

I was shocked, I have never been to a mall before. Rosé dragged me into an escalator and said, "This is your first time in a mall, right?" I nodded with embarrassment but she said, "Hey, don't worry, we came here to have a good time and to find outfits that will slay." She made me smile. We got of the escalator and we all linked arms. We started walking and I felt like I was on top of the world. I felt like no one could touch me, until someone did. I felt a rough, cold hand on my bare shoulder and by instinct, I grabbed the hand and twisted the arm. I turned around and saw Taehyung's group of friends and I realised that Jimin was missing and then I walked back and apologised repeatedly. " I'm so sorry Jimin I didn't know it was you." He was still clutching his shoulder and smiled, "A strong girl, who would've thought."

"Yeah, a girl strong enough to beat you up." Oohs and aahs managed to escape the mouths of both our friends. Jimin sarcastically grabbed his chest and said, "Ouch, that hurt." We all laughed at his sarcasm except for Suyoung and Jungkook. They were smiling at each other. "How come you guys are here?" Asked Jungkook curiously. Suyoung shyly replied with, "Oh, erm, we are just going shopping for the party, erm how about you?"

"Same, wait, you are talking about Jennie's party, right?" I interrupted their mild flirting and said, "OK guys, we know you like each other but stop flirting, it's kind of making me sick." They both started to blush and everyone made kissing sounds which made their cheeks go crimson. "Anyway, Taehyung, are you going to the party as well?" I asked.

He said that Jennie invited him but he wasn't sure until now. "Knowing that you are going, why not." He said. He made me feel like I belonged.

Jisoo then said, "We will meet back here at 3.30, ok?" Everyone nodded. "Get somthing nice." Jungkook said to Suyoung, this made her giggle. We started to part when Jimin said to me, "Get something special." He smiled and we all went our separate ways. Somthing special.

We finally found a store which we were all interested in. Before we went inside, Rosé said that we should have a theme. We all made suggestions and we all landed on a black and gold chic look. We scoured and searched each isle and then I found it. A pair of killer boots that would crush everything. We were all in awe and I grabbed them before anyone could and then saw the price. "$45. WHAT! NO WAY!" I threw the boots back on the shelf which threw everyone back. "What was that, those boots are killer; you have to get them," Rihannon looked at me hoping I would pick them back up. " If I buy this, I won't have nearly enough money to buy a decent dress. I'll only have 20 bucks left, you can't even get a good make up pallate with that much."

"It's fine, we will all chip in to help you buy a dress, come on you have to, have to, have to get those." They were all nodding so I picked them up and tried them on.

They were exactly my size and there were a few more pairs left and luckily, it fit all of us. So far, so good. "These will look so good us," exclaimed Lexi, clapping her petite hands together in excitement. "Now, it's time for dresses." Said an excited voice. We all looked at the owner who was Rhiannon, she was jumping up and down, you could tell she couldn't wait, neither could any of us.

We then set foot into the dress section of the store.

"I have never seen so much dresses before in my life." I had just realised that I said this out loud, I abruptly shut my mouth. I was having fun until now, every time I was brought back to reality, it hit me, I'm the poor one. The one that couldn't afford anything. I shook these stupid thoughts out of my head as I turned to face my friends, true friends who accepted me for who I am, no matter what my social status. I suddenly stopped as I saw a gorgeous velvet black dress.
