Based off of Tumblr post above. In this oneshot, for plot convenience, the accords have been amended and the avengers come and go at Stark Towers which was quickly given back to Tony after the buyers found that they weren't able to afford keeping the place running. Peter stays at the tower every other weekend. (Yes I did post this in my oneshot book, but I decided it would be better suited here)

Also MJ swears in the last line

Peter is sitting in his room with MJ and Ned. All three friends bored out of their mind.

Ned sighs. "Anything interesting happen with the Avengers?"

Peter shrugs. "Apparently Thor stopped by earlier. Mr. Stark wouldn't stop talking about Thor's hammer and worthiness." Peter rolls his eyes. "He even muttered something about elevators and hooks not being worthy."

"Wouldn't a hook break because of the hammer's weight?" Ned wonders.

MJ shakes her head. "I don't think Mjolnir is very heavy. Otherwise anything Thor would set his hammer on would break. I really think that there is something that determines worthiness."

"But worthy how? What makes someone worthy?" Peter asks.

MJ hums. "What if Mjolnir is just stubborn?"

Peter taps his chin. "I think you're onto something. Thor has mentioned that he has set his hammer on Loki. The hammer would have crushed Loki if it was extremely heavy. It doesn't fall off of him either."

"It's almost like Thor's hammer is a fixed point," Ned says.

"And everything else just moves around it," MJ adds with a half smile half smirk.

A big smile spreads across Peter's face. "So basically, when Thor's hammer was forged in the heart of a star it became a fixed quantum point and the universe moves around it. And Thor is practically the only one with the proper resonance to interact with the hammer on a quantum level."

Ned and Peter have obnoxiously big smiles on their faces while MJ has a big smirk on hers.

"We just scienced the shit out of Thor's hammer, Losers."
