After my mother leaves the door opens again but this time it is the peacekeepers
“time to go to the train” they say
and take me down the hall to get Pearl, once we get to Pearl she’s sitting in the hall crying and normally i would hug someone in her state and ask if they are ok but i can’t i’m a career and if i want to win the games i can’t get close to anyone.
“get up” a peacekeeper says while shoving her hard with their gun
“hey, leave her alone” i say while helping Pearl to her feet
“th thank you” she says between sobs
“ya ya whatever lets go” i say as i turn
and open the doors that lead us utside of the justice building and waiting for us is a black car and outside of the car is our escort Laurel
“alright well let’s go, we don't want to be late” she says while slipping into the back seat while us following her. Laurel start’s to talk but i just blur it out, there is no point listening to her it’s not like she will help me win these games. I snap back to reality once i hear “and this is our train” Laurel says while stepping out of the car and into the train “follow me” and we do, she takes us to a hall and point’s us to our room “why don't you two change then meet me and your mentor in 5 minutes in the dinning cart” we both nod and i head into my room.
