Lucy's POV

"We're family." I say.

Eyes around the room widen... an expected reaction.

"Do you mind explaining?" Master asks of me.

I sit down on a broken bench to the best of my ability.

"She's my aunt. I haven't seen her since my mother's death, and she wants me to come live with her, or she says she'll crush Fairy Tail..."

"We'll crush her!" Natsu yells.

The master shushes him.

"As much as I'd love to agree, Lilith is quite the enemy. She's not a force to be reckoned with. She has a powerful standing."

Master looks to me to continue.

I look down, fumbling with my fingers.

"Let's continue this conversation independently." Master says, leading me away.

I follow him, feeling more comfortable with less eyes on me.

"Tell me, Lucy." He suggests sweetly.

"I-I have to give her an explanation... the reasoning towards why I haven't used her gift."

He raises an eyebrow.

I look around nervously to make sure no one is nearby.

"The last time I saw her, she strapped me on to a lab table and gave me a lacrima..."

He listens closely.

"She wants to know why I'm not using the magic she gave me then."

"Magic?"

"Y-Yes. I hid it away, but it recently came in sync with me again. I-I've been training secretly so no one knows."

"What magic has become in your possession?"

"...t-the magic of the Celestial Dragon Slayer."

His eyes get a little wider.

"S-something that powerful!"

I nod.

Master sighs.

"Very well, Lucy. Thank you for the information. I'll make sure not to tell anyone about your little secret."

I smile.

"Thank you, Master!"

I embrace him in a tight hug before running off to help everyone pick up the pieces of Fairy Tail.

Master's POV

Lucy runs off.

That poor girl...

Something is always going on in that family of hers.

On the other hand, she's a dragon slayer.

Though I realize she's keeping that secret locked up, things will play out accordingly.

Things will get to the extreme, and she'll reveal her powers to save the guild.

Lucy may be on the newer side, but that girl loves Fairy Tail as much as anyone.

She has the heart for it too.

We must defeat Lilith at all costs.

I can't let her spirit deplete like this.

I'd do anything for any one of these strong, passionate children.

They care for another, and they'd do exactly the same as I.
