After about three movies I was very exhausted, and decided to go home. I got in my car and drove to the apartment. My apartment. Taking out my key, I unlocked the door and walked inside.
"Welcome home, honey," Ezra said getting off the couch and walking over to me. Pulling me closer to him, he took off my scarf, "I hate it when you hide yourself," he said, leaning in.
"Mm... I don't think you want to do that," I said, turning my head.
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"I don't care," he cupped my face and kissed me softly.
"Hm... That couldn't have been good," I said, crinkling my nose.
"It was the same as any other time," he said, kissing my head. I stood by the door as Ezra walked to the kitchen, "Thai leftovers?"
"Hm... Let me think about it? Kinda had a lot by my standards at Spencer's," I said, walking to the couch. I rubbed my temples and began to cough.
"You all right?" Ezra asked, rushing over to sit next to me. I shook my head as the coughing got increasingly worse. Then I felt it. Tasted it. Blood.
"Shit!" Ezra exclaimed, picking me up and carrying me out to the car. Somewhere between there and the hospital, I fainted.
*Ezra's POV*
Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Not this. Things were just staring to get better! I picked Aria up out of the car nd rushed into the hospital, "Can I get a doctor over here?"
"Oh my god!" exclaimed a young doctor, obviously seeing the two of us, covered in blood, "What happened?" he led us over to a gurney.
"Leukemia. Please tell me you can help her!"
"I can, but you'll have to wait here," he said, taking Aria from me. I felt so useless, like there was nothing I could do. I must've looked like an idiot, standing, shocked, in the middle of the ER.

I sat beside Aria for three days while she slept. Everyone was on me to go home and sleep, Hanna, Spencer, Emily, even Ella and Byron. I would not leave her side while she was clinging to life. I can't let her go, not like this. I had been sleeping uncomfortably in the plastic chair beside her bed when the door opened. Her doctor was looking down at her, a clip board clutched to her chest.
"Is everything all right?" I asked, shifting my position. She looked startled.
"Oh, sorry. I didn't expect you to wake up. I'm sorry to say, but Aria is relapsing, and the cancer is spreading. She's getting worse instead of better. We're going to have to keep her here for a while," she said quietly. She seemed saddened by this news, considering she sees it everyday. Aria shifted in the bed, opening her eyes,
"Ezra! Where's Ezra?" she attempted to yell, her voice scratchy.
"I'm right here," I said, moving closer to her, grasping her hand, "I'm right here,"
"Aria," said the doctor, moving to the other side of the bed, "how are you feeling?"
"Like I've been sleeping forever, and-" she was interrupted by the ringing of my cell phone. I reached for it and opened it.
'Please oh please let her not die! That's one less I can have fun with!
XOXO -A'
