It was 7 p.m. The sky was overcast in total darkness. The pretty brunette girl slid open the door of her balcony, her hand clutched the phone near her ear as she romantically gazed at her garden beneath,  her mind ecstatic as she  talked to the love of her life. She smiled and giggled softly and started playing with her hair when he whispered out his love for her. She let the cool breeze blow her hair and  wished that time had stopped. She started pacing around her balcony chuckling in glee unable to contain the excitement in her. Her face creased up when she noticed a rose tucked to the side of the ceiling loft. She was home alone, and that was the worst thing that could happen to anyone, and especially to someone residing in the town of HeavensGate. Significant amount of perspiration began to be visible on her pale face. What was a..a rose doing in a place like that? she wondered.
She grabbed it and pulled it down. It was a real one.
"John," she asked "Did you leave a rose for me when you came here yesterday?"
It was pointless to ask, she knew. A rose as fresh as this would have withered away.
"No. I didn't. Anything the matter babe?"
"No, nothing at all. Don't worry. See you in tomorrow's party."
Just then, a noise caught her attention from the garden beneath. She bent over the railing to figure out the source of the noise.
She fell in a daze when she heard the sound of water running through the hose in her garden.
Now who could that be? Did a trespasser turn the tap on?
The eerie silence gave rise to her worst imaginations.
Taking a torch along with her she decided to investigate and headed downstairs towards the farthest end of her garden. Yes, she was our brave girl, but that very nature can sometimes put you in the worst spot.
Sure enough, the tap was on and water running through the hose. She looked at the watery soil that had accumulated near her feet.
She didn't know what to think anymore. There was no one around and the tap was on. Was she perhaps..lured in? Something told her it was already too late.
''Little girl'' a hoarse  traumatizing sound enough to paralyze her echoed behind.
''The water spills, and curiosity kills.''
The girl jumped back face to face with the boy in the black sweatshirt.
                              In the girl's mind
Is he the one? The killer? The murderer? The entire town has been talking about? Am I going to die like this? In this way? I am a fool, darn it! No way! This can't be!
He's not going to kill me. What have I done? I haven't done anything wrong. But that rose.. Jesus!
                              In his mind
                              The 350th kill. Not bad.
Humans. They deserve a lot worse. Careless and stupid beings like these. Know the power of the demons, dumb girl. The job gets boring each day.
"Leaving your house...keeping the door wide open...aren't we the smartest?"
"W-what? Who are you?" Paralyzed with fear, the girl found no voice.
"Who am I? Why, your neighbour. What if that Killer strikes your house? You should be more careful,'' he said in a monotonous voice with the evil intentions still intent.
"Oh..Oh I see. I was here to turn this tap off,you see. I thought you were going to hurt me or something. I'm sorry Mister. I'll head back,'' she said relief washing all over her.
''Don't be scared. I won't hurt you," he smirked and smiled "I will kill you."
Her eyes widened in fear as she saw thick black veins becoming visible all over his face, perhaps the scariest thing she had ever seen. His eyes were beautiful. She was almost attracted to them. His body started giving off the awful stench of blood and deep within she knew her end was near...in fact very near.
He grabbed her powerfully with one hand and with the other swiftly drew a line horizontally running across her neck with his sharp claws. The silence of the night was broken with a loud pitch scream of agony, enough to wake up the dead. In seconds, oozed  from them pure dark red blood.
"It's useless screaming, human. Your neighbors are already half way to Heaven.''
The girl lay there on the ground clutching her neck throbbing in pain as the merciless gently broke off the joint in her leg and using his same sharp claws, slit open the veins of her feet, guaranteeing her that it was useless struggling to survive. She hollered in pain as her entire life flashed before her eyes.
"That should do it. No blood, No human,'' he chuckled.
Her face was covered in her own blood, her screams reverberated the lethal area. The mud was now a mixture of  both water and blood.
"Easiest death I can give, filthy human. I chop in other cases.  See ya."
The deadening figure fused into the abode of darkness, the silence of the night taking over the area once again.
