mikasa's POV

as i was doing my homework and listening to my music as usual, i got a text message from my phone, i looked over to my phone and a new number came up, i asked myself
"who is this?" as i opened my phone the text said
??? - hey mikasa, it's me annie from your classes.
i was confused on how she got my number but i saved her to my contacts as "annie 💕"
mikasa - how did you get my number annie?
annie - eren gave it to me, same with your insta and that
i blushed at realizing that she found all my social medias, stupid eren
mikasa - oh really? eren never keeps my stuff private

after that text message, me and annie texted for hours, eren started to get worried but i told him i was just texting a friend from school (which she was), talking to annie never got boring, i couldn't stop smiling at the texts that my cheeks started to hurt physically from smiling so much, me and annie kept texting until i had to go eat and she had to do something with reiner and bertholdt

time skip

i was eating dinner with eren and that while all i was thinking about was annie, did i like her? no way that's possible. i basically just met her a few days ago at school, she seemed nicer then what she looked like, after me thinking about annie for the whole dinner time, dinner was over so i went upstairs, maybe i did like her? i don't even know anymore.

next day

i walked with armin and eren towards the school, not joining in with their conversations, i looked up and saw annie, i smiled softly to myself but annie wasn't hanging around with reiner or bertholdt like what she normally done, she was sitting down at a table by herself, hands on her skirt, me being curious i walked up to her without eren and armin noticing, i sat beside her and asked a simple question
"what's wrong?" she jumped at the sudden noise but after a few seconds she said something odd.
"i'm starting to think i like someone." she said looking onto the table, avoiding eye contact, i wanted to know who she liked but i know about peoples privacy so i never asked who she liked
"where's reiner and bertholdt?" i asked softly
"they went on a school trip, so i'm the only one in the dorm now." she said quietly, finally looking up from the table to me
"you have me, you know?" i saw her blush and i tried not to laugh, it was cute seeing her embarrassed
"i-i know.." she said in a more quiet voice as the bell rang, me and annie walked to our first class, which was art again, talking to annie never got boring, but it wasn't fun until lunch came, i saw everyone outside, cheering and yelling "kill her!!" kill who? i then heard eren's ear piercing scream, i ran outside to where everyone else was, i pushed pass everyone including ymir, sasha and historia, i was shocked at what i was seeing, eren was choking annie, this was a fight and all people were doing was screaming for eren and videoing the whole thing. i had to stop this but i then saw annie on top of eren punching him, yelling "i love her more then you do, more then you'll ever love her!!!"
were they talking about me..?

okay i'm sorry this is shorter then the last chapter, and i couldn't do anything because my wifi was really bad this week so i couldn't post or write any chapters, sorry y'all - jordan
