annie's pov

i texted mikasa simply saying

"meet me at free period, i have something to ask."

mikasa never replied.

"that's odd? she normally always replies." i say to myself, genuinely really confused since she replies quickly on when i text her

- time skip to free period -

i just finished my last class, which was technology, fucking boring as shit with hitch asking me questions again, mikasa wasn't there. weird.

anyway i checked my phone to see if mikasa replied, she didn't, only a message from ee saying that you can get new deals for data, classic
i just headed out to the courtyard, which i wish i never saw, it fucking broke my heart into pieces.

jean kissing mikasa, all over, from forehead to neck to chest

i felt like i just got a knife to the heart is probably the easiest way on saying this feeling. i couldn't help myself from crying, silence crying, that's why she never replied. she was hooking up with jean. i slowly grabbed my phone and texted mikasa

"we're done."

i had no idea what to do except walk back home, i didn't want to see her face again, i thought i actually meant something to her.

just a lie she said.

i texted bert and reiner for them to go to the apartment, i really needed a shoulder to cry on, someone to comfort me, which bert and reiner are the first people/only people who show that to me, allow me to cry on their shoulder, they comfort me.

- time skip to 4:30 when bert and reiner get to the apartment -

i heard bert asking where i was, which i replied with in the living room, he ran to me and hugged me, which is what i honestly needed

"annie what happened? i hate seeing you like this" bert pouted but sounding really concerned
"s-she was..h-hooking up w-with jean.." i said sounding completely heartbroken, even they heard it
"annie.." reiner started to speak but bert interrupted
"she never meant it to happen, jean took her phone and started doing that stuff to her, you know her, she would never do something like that." bert looked down and hugged me
"b-but it hurts, s-she looked like she was e-enjoying it.."

- hey guys what's up? i'm finally back after like a month, sorry that i hit talk with the depressing plot twist, i've been feeling heartbroken recently so i just needed to let it out i guess? ah idk, anyway, i'll probably be updating more now, well depends if school doesn't take up all my time, kinda nice being back on this app i dunno :)
