mikasa's POV

i was sitting in math class, listening to boring mr. ackerman, he's my first cousin alright, but luckily he acts like he hates my guts at school, but i think we're learning bout algebra, i actually have no clue i'm not paying attention

all of a sudden my phone started vibrating, fuck sake i forgot to turn it silent before class
"ackerman! switch off your phone immediately and if it happens again i will take your phone off you!" mr.ackerman practicality just gave his lungs to me, i didn't reply, though i wanted too i just didn't

i looked out of the classes giant class wall thingy (i dunno what to call it okay) and saw annie with reiner, must've been sent out early, but then i saw reiner with annies phone, i knew exactly what was happening.

i asked the teacher if i could go to the bathroom, he said fine, thank fuck he doesn't give me like 2 mins to go n back, i took my bag and headed out, i saw annie looked at me like she was about to shut herself on the spot, i walked to her and she started to run, so it ended up being a chase until i heard one of the head of department (theres 2 of them in each wing) walking up the halls, reiner yelled sprint for it, which me and annie did, we were faster then them so it was quite easy to get away, but we had to sprint to either the bathrooms in the main hallway and hide or go somewhere else that wasn't this hell hole.

"guys, we should try and maybe go to town or something, just anywhere from here." i asked, annie replied with
"yeah, i agree, how about we go to like a restaurant or something, actually something decent you know?"
reiner nodded his head, so we sprinted out of there and headed up to the town, it was a 30 min walk but i didn't care, didn't really know bout the others.

we were at the town, now just deciding what we wanted to eat, reiner said mcdonald's but i wasnt in the mood for something like that, annie didn't care, she was hugging onto me and playing with my hand, there was a cheap restaurant around the corner, we all agreed on that but before we headed there, reiner said he wanted to look around the stores n shit, i and annie agreed

annie sat on my lap on one of those comfy seats things, she was fast asleep in my shoulder, i giggled but left her be, god she can be so fucking adorable but she's can be so scary i swear to go.

we looked around more stores, bought some random shite that we would probably throw away before next week. it was fun, loved spending time with theses dumbasses.
