21 - believe me

Suni's POV

"WHAT HAPPENED TO MY SHIRT?!" Minhyuk and I turned to the door where a red faced Kihyun stood holding a drenched shirt.

I giggled and buried my face in Minhyuk's shoulder as he stifled a laugh.

"Sunshine had a little accident, you just left your shirt lying on the floor and she must have thought it was her litter box or something."

"This was my best shirt." he wailed. "You didn't even bother to put it into the laundry!"

"You didn't bother to hang it up in your wardrobe." Minhyuk shot back.

Kihyun huffed and looked down at Sunshine who was jumping around at his feet. A smile cracked onto his face before he glared at us both.

"Potty train her properly or I'll get rid of her." he stormed off.

Sunshine barked and ran back over to us.

"Don't worry, I won't let him take you away." I stroked at her soft fur and nuzzled her nose against mine.

"Kihyun doesn't mean it, he just has anger issues." Minhyuk chirped.

"Just like you have anger issues over games?" I pushed his chest teasingly.

His eyes darkened. "No, I'm being serious when I say the other guys cheat!"

"Keep dreaming Minhyuk." Shownu said as he walked past the room.

Minhyuk's mouth dropped open in disbelief.

"You believe me right Sugar? I'm a decent player but they must have hacked the game or downloaded some cheats so that I always lose."

"Of course I believe you." I replied, sarcasm dripping from my words.

He pouted. "Sugar..."

He pounced forward and pushed me so that my back was flat against the floor.

I looked up at him with wide eyes as he straddled my hips.

His eyes narrowed slightly in a teasing manner. "I'll make you believe me."

"I don't see how you're going to do that in this position." I whispered back.

He ignored Sunshine as she attacked his legs and pressed his lips to mine. He moved a hand up to tangle in my hair before biting down on my lip.

It was hard enough to draw blood and made me gasp out in pain. He latched his lips to my bottom lip, sucking out a tiny amount of blood before licking it gently and putting his tongue in my mouth.

My tongue wrestled with his until I finally managed to push his tongue back into his own mouth where it belonged.

"Baby..." I whined out in disbelief that he'd had the nerve to bite me.

"Sorry Sugar." he rasped out.

I snaked my arms around his neck and bit down on his lip harshly.

He squeaked and opened his eyes to stare at me.

I smirked but didn't remove my teeth, grinding them together before I tasted the metallic touch of his blood. I let him go and looked up at him as he panted rapidly.

"Payback." I grinned.

He licked at the blood that had run down his chin before moving his face closer to mine.

I thought he was going to tell me off but a smirk took its place on his handsome face.

"That was hot."

The smile wiped off my face.

"Not fair." I whined. "That was supposed to make you stop biting me without my permission so you'd understand how painful it is."

"Should I turn you into a vampire so I can experience you biting into my neck?" he looked like he was genuinely pondering turning me.

I pushed him off me and backed away. "N-no... I don't want to be a vampire."

He cocked his head to the side, watching me, before crawling forward.

I backed away further until my back hit the wall and he was just a metre away from me.

"M-Minhyuk." I gasped out as he pushed his face into my neck. I shivered as his tongue flicked against my skin.

"Fine." he eventually said. "I won't turn you."

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you."

"But don't bite me again otherwise I might get so turned on that I turn you right there and then."

"Noted." I said dryly before giggling when Sunshine pushed her face in between us, begging for attention. "She's just like you, so needy."

"You love it really." he grinned and pecked my lips before sitting back and holding Sunshine in his arms.

"I do."

"So do you believe me now?"

"About wha- oh." I sighed and raised an eyebrow. "You did nothing to convince me that you're a decent player but I'll believe you because you're my boyfriend."

He grinned. "You're the best!"

I glanced up at Wonho who stood leant against the doorway with a scowl on his face. I had no idea how long he'd been standing there.

Minhyuk noticed me staring and turned to look at Wonho.

"Need something?" he said harshly.

Wonho's eyes didn't move from mine. "Suni you should be careful-"

Minhyuk stood up suddenly, making Wonho stop talking and flick his eyes to him.

Wonho sighed. "Never mind, dinner's nearly ready so you should feed Sunshine and come to the kitchen."

He turned and left, making me feel confused. I stared up at Minhyuk's back with a worried expression before smiling slightly when he turned to face me again.

"What was that about?" I asked quietly.

"It's nothing, Wonho is just regretting his decisions." he held out a hand, which I took gratefully and stood up.

I brushed off my trousers and nodded. "I'll feed Sunshine, you can go on ahead."

"You sure?" he rested his hands on my shoulders.

I nodded and pecked his lips before shooing him out of the room.

I filled Sunshine's bowl up with kibble and watched her eat for a while before following my nose to where the delicious smell of food was coming from.

I wondered what the real reason was behind Wonho's words. Why should I be careful? Careful about what though, Minhyuk or just in general?

I paused and tried to push Wonho out of my mind, why did I care what he meant... he was the one who had betrayed me in the first place. I should concentrate more on Minhyuk who actually showed me he liked me through his actions.
