Suni's POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar room and immediately opened my mouth to scream. Had N managed to take me with him? Where the hell was I?

A pair of arms wrapped around me.

"Shh, Suni it's me. You're safe."

"Wonho?" I turned to look at him, not quite believing my eyes. "Is it really you?"

He smiled softly and nodded. "I'm here."

"How did you find me?"

"I'm not entirely sure... yesterday I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my head and heard you calling my name. Shownu said he had a similar experience and we had a vision of you in NCT's dorm so we formed a plan to get you out."

"Weird, I did call for you but I didn't know you'd be able to see me. Maybe the blood you drank from me formed a link?"

He shrugged. "Never heard of such a thing. Anyway the important thing is that you're safe now. I brought you to a hotel and Shownu went back to the dorm."

"Why didn't you take me back?"

"It's too dangerous." he said softly.

"Wh-why?"

"Minhyuk..." he paused and sat down on the bed beside me. "He's not who you think he is."

"Wh-what do you mean?"

"Remember that time when I broke up with you and... that stuff happened?"

"How could I forget?" I sighed.

"Minhyuk threatened to kill you and your family if I didn't break up with you. He planned everything with the members beforehand so that it made me look like the bad guy. Only Changkyun and Shownu had no idea."

"What the hell?!" I yelled before lowering my voice. "He planned that?"

Wonho nodded. "I wanted to tell you so badly but I couldn't risk it. I love you so much and it was painful to watch you be with Minhyuk after what he'd said and done."

I teared up. "W-wow... I can't believe he did that to me."

"I can't take you back to the dorm just in case Minhyuk tries something. I'll need to speak to him but I think it's best if you just go home."

"I don't want to go home." I cried. "Wonho please..."

"Suni." he grasped my face in both his hands. "You must, it's too dangerous for you to stay with us! You might get kidnapped again, or worse... killed."

"I'll take the risk." I sobbed out.

He placed a kiss on the tip of my nose. "But I won't. I don't want to see you get hurt."

I wrapped my arms around him. "You'll hurt me more if you don't let me come back. Please?"

"That's why I have to do this." he pulled away and held me at arms length.

"No nO NO!" I screamed, closing my eyes shut tightly as I knew what he was going to do next. "Don't compel me, please!"

"Suni." he said softly, making me open my eyes. "I love you, that's why I must."

"I will give you money to take a taxi home, you will not remember anything that happened to you and will only know that you went abroad to work and are back to visit your family. For a short while you won't know who Monsta X are or what they do, just until you've settled back at home and are in your normal routine once again."

He stared into my eyes, and my brain felt like it was turning to mush inside my head. I blindly nodded at his words and took the money he held out to me.

"Goodbye, Suni." I turned back as I reached the door of the hotel room and gave him one last glance.

"Goodbye stranger?"
