Wyatt and Lucy drove down to Mason Industries as quick as they could, running several red lights in the process.
When the got there Agent Christopher approached them with a distressed look on her face.
"Good, you're here." she greeted them half-heartedly. "I'll give you a brief rundown of the situation and then you can go change." she said.
Christopher then proceeded to tell them the plan for taking out Flynn. Multiple times during the conversation, Wyatt had argued that Lucy shouldn't go on the mission.
"She's already been shot, and this is a literal massacre!" he exclaimed. Even Christopher could detect a hint of worry in his voice. "I feel that it would hinder the mission." he said, trying to cover up.

Five minutes later the two headed to the racks of 1920-30's clothing.
Eventually Lucy found a beautiful emerald dress that came just above knee and draped over her in a way that emphasized her curves. She also wore a bejeweled hat that sat at an angle on her head and black shoes to match.
Wyatt settled on a simple tan suit with a red and white tie. He wore leather dress shoes and his head was adorned with a dark tan golfer's cap to complete the look.
Soon both of them were out of their changing room all decked-out and ready for their mission.
Lucy wanted to put off talking about their kiss (well, two kisses actually) till after the mission. But apparently Wyatt had other plans.
"Uh, Lucy?" he called to her.
She spun around to face him. Both of them began to check the other person out. They couldn't help but acknowledge how attractive the other one was.
"You look . . ." they said in unison.
A fit of laughter escaped from their lips.
"Thank you." Lucy told him softly.
The man cleared his throat and took a step towards her.
"I, uh. I was hoping we could discuss what happened earlier this evening." he said.
She nodded. "I know. And I want to, I really do." she started.
"I just want to do it when we can sit down on your couch and not worry about what Flynn's doing to history." she explained.
Wyatt took another step in her direction. His face so close that she could feel his warm breath on her cheeks.
"I don't think we'll ever not be worried about the past." he spoke in a low voice just loud enough for her to hear.
"Maybe all we can do is simply focus on the present and whether or not 'we' are a part of it." he whispered, gesturing between the two.
Lucy was about to respond when Rufus came around the corner dressed in his 1920's garb.
"Hey, Lucy how are you feeling?" he asked her.
She smiled and responded with a polite, "I'm better. Thank you."
"I think that day off from work really helped me relax." she continued.
Rufus flashed both her and Wyatt a knowing smile. "Yeah, I bet it did." he said.
At his friend's sudden comment, the soldier stepped forward. "And what is that supposed to mean?" he asked Rufus.
"I've got eyes you sly dog!" he informs Wyatt.
