Your POV
I barely slept the entire night. I tossed and turned, while my mind raced.
"She doesn't like you!" I thought.
"You don't like her like that!" I lied to myself.
"Do I even like girls?" I thought.I eventually came to the conclusion...
"Yes."Eventually my thoughts got to be too much, for me to just lay there. I decided I'd do something productive, since I'm up.
I slowly, and quietly, get out of bed. As I sit on the edge I look back at her, and smile. She looks so peaceful, and-
"Stop!" I think to myself.
I slide of of the bed, and grab my pillow, and blanket. After dropping my stuff off in my room, I change, and walk to the training room.
"Start training session. Level 1." I call into the distance.
I grab my Bayard, which shifts into a katana, and begin training.
-Time skip brought to you by Texas Keef, Yee haw-
I stand in the middle of the training room, lost in thought, when suddenly, a training bot rushes at me, full force.
I quickly hit it with my katana, but I'm knocked back, onto the floor.I stand up to attack, but am interrupted by the voice of my brother.
"End training session!" He calls. The bot stops in it's tracks, and retreats.
"I could have handled it myself, thanks." I roll my eyes at him.
"You're distracted!" He says. "You ok?"
"Not necessarily." I sigh.
"You wanna talk about it?" He asks.
I sigh, he's my brother, he'll understand.
"I guess"
We walk over to a bench and sit down.
"What's going on?" He asks.
"S- Shiro. About Adam... How d- How did you know you... That you..." I stutter.
"Like boys?" He asks.
I sigh, "Yeah."
"Well, I guess it was kinda just there. All my friends had girl crushes growing up, and I was just never really like that. Then... Then I met Adam, and I realized. I tried to pretend the feelings weren't there, but eventually there was no denying it. I confessed, and told him I liked him, and luckily the feeling was mutual." He smiles.
I nod.
"Why?" He asks.
"Well... I kind of have feelings for someone... And they've been there for a while, but I'm just now starting to realize what those feelings are. And it's scary. But... I think I'm gay." I sigh.
"I think I know who it is..." He laughs.
"Am I that obvious?" I frown.
" [Y/N], I could tell you've liked her for a while. And she obviously likes you." He laughs.
"Wait, really?!" I ask, smiling.
"God, you're oblivious!" He laughs, messing up my hair.
"Hey!" I protest, laughing too.
"I'm glad you decided to talk to me about it." He smiles. "And [Y/N],"
"Yeah?" I ask.
"Talk to her."
"I will." I smile.
"Now go get some rest, you look exhausted." I leave the training room, but I know there's no way I'd be able to sleep. So I walk around the castle a bit, before heading to the dining area for breakfast.
As I walk in, I see Pidge, Keith, and Lance sitting at the table, I grab my food, then sit by Pidge.
"Hey, where'd you go last night? You were gone when I woke up." She asks.
"Sorry, I couldn't sleep. I decided to go to the training room to tire me out, and I lost track of time." I lie. I couldn't sleep, that's true. I went to the training room, that's true. But, it was for a different reason.
"Oh,"
I notice Keith, starring at Lance the whole time, but every time Lance glances his way, he looks away.
"Earth to Keith..." I whisper.
"Huh?" He asks.
"Checking Lance out?" I whisper, making sure Lance doesn't hear.
"Wha- No!" He whispers.
I raise an eyebrow at him.
"Sure," I laugh."Shut up!" He rolls his eyes.
God, Lance is oblivious."So, why were you in Pidge's room last night?" Lance asks, winking.
Pidge's face turns a bright pink.
I feel the heat rise in my cheeks."Sleepover," Pidge says.
"You two just do that now?" Lance asks.
"Do what?" I ask, in response.
"Just decide to have sleepovers, when your rooms are just down the hall from each other." Lance asks.
"Yeah, why?" Pidge looks at him, confused.
He laughs.
"Why is that so weird? We used to have sleepovers all the time when we were younger." I ask.
"Wait, you two knew each other?" He asks, shocked.
I roll my eyes, Pidge bangs her head on the table. We both laugh.
We explain to Lance how idiotic he is.
"So Shiro and her father and brother knew each other, correct." I sarcastically ask."Yeah," He responds.
"So if they're friends, we'd obviously have had to met sometime." I explain, laughing the whole time. Keith leaves, then eventually Lance does too, leaving Pidge and I alone.
"Remember what Shiro said, talk to her!" I think to myself.
Ok, here goes nothing...
"Pidge I-" I start.
Just then, the castle alarm goes off.
