As the day came to an end so did Korrens excitement. He became super nervous. "What if it goes wrong. What if she doesn't like me after all. What am I even. Supposed to wear!" Korren fought internally.
He was finally going on a date with Asami. He had no idea what to expect from this date.
"Fuck it. I'll just put on some camo joggers and a black v-neck."
As Korren finished getting ready, he heard a knock on his door.
"This is it" he thought. We finished putting on his shirt and opened the door.
Standing in front of him was the beautiful Asami Sato. She was wearing a red crop top with a black leather jacket and black skinny jeans.
"Wow you're gorgeous" Korren said dreamily.
"Thank you. You don't look too bad yourself" Asami winked and linked her arm into his.
"So where are we going tonight?" He asked excitedly
"I was thinking maybe going to the carnival in the park." She exclaimed nervously.
"Sounds fantastic actually."
They smiled at each other and got into Asamis car.
Korren and Asami made their way around the carnival like they were best friends back in the day. They ate cotton candy, Drank an insane amount of soda, and went on as many rides as possible. Korren even won Asami a gigantic polar bear dog.
"One more ride then I'll take you home" Asami said softly.
She lead him over to the Farris wheel. Once they got on, it was quiet. Korren looked over at Asami and gave her a nervous look. She shook her head.
"You don't need to be nervous Korren. I like you." She grabbed his shaking arm and put it around her shoulders. They instantly relaxed. "I feel at peace when I'm with you" Asami thought. They looked over at each other at the same time.
Korren's eyes went straight to Asami's lips.
"You can kiss me. I don't bite. Too hard"
Korren took that as a green light and smashed their lips together. It was like fireworks on Fourth of July. Nothing could separate them as the kiss was passionate and full of unknown feelings. As they broke apart they looked into each others eyes.
"Will you make me the happiest and be my girlfriend?" Korren said quietly.
"Finally" Asami said with a grin. They kissed once more, happy with how this date night went.
