Korren and Asami have been inseperable since they were reunited. They did everything together. They went to each other's games, ate together, even sometimes fell asleep on the couch together. But even after all of that. They were oblivious to the feelings they both had for one another. It's like they don't see the blushes when there's hand to hand contact, Or the lingering gazes they give to each other.
Bolin, Opal, and Mako have had enough. They were going to get them together, or at least make them open their eyes to the continuous flirting.
"So how are we going to do this?" Asked Bolin.
"Operation get Korren and Asami together consists of 3 important steps hun." Opal said patting Bolin's back. " First, we need to get them in the same area. Step two is 'accidentally' trip one of them into one another. Three watch the magic happen" as she said that, she threw her hands up in an explosion kind of way.
"I don't think that's going to work" Mako said with a pouted lip.
"It has to work. Once they kiss everything will be good" she grinned.
Later that day
"I wonder what Opal wanted from us. She said it was an emergency." Korren said with a worried tone. " I don't know. Ive never heard her so serious. It must be important" spoke Asami.
They worked their way down to the softball fields, where Opal told them to meet her at. All of a sudden Asami was tripped by a softball rolling on the ground. She pulled Korren down with her. Both landing with a thud.
Asami looked up and saw how close Korren was. He opened his eyes and looked down. Their faces only inches apart. They were slowly leaning in. Lips almost touching when Wu yelled "hey you guys! Are you alright?"
The two instantly stood up, faces bright red. Korren coughed "yeah we are good." You could hear the nervousness in his voice. Asami was dead silent.
"Okay good. Opal accidentally over threw the ball and I couldn't catch it. I'm glad you guys are okay." Wu picked up the ball and walked back onto the field. Both Korren and Asami didn't speak a single word to each other the rest of the afternoon.
Man I hope y'all like it so far. Idk how I am with writing so let me know what you guys think. :) Sorry for the chapters being short. I have so many ideas on how I want to write this story. Anyways. I'll be writing randomly. So new chapters hopefully two a day. Maybe more.
