We got to the apartment door and i knocked. Roger kept nervously looking at the door until iit opened.
"Heey Fetch....and who ever you are." Delsin looked at Roger with a questioning look. "You were that guy with metal powers?"he took a step aside to let us in.
"Uhm, my name's Roger and yeah, i can control metal" Roger answered as he walked in after me.
"Want to shake hands?" Delsin added.
"No. Leave him alone Smokes. Where is Gwen?" i asked and peeked into the livingroom and looked back at Del. He nodded towards the bedroom door.
"Uhm...okay..." Roger said silently, looking from Del to me, and back at Del.
"Is she okay?" i asked "What happened anyway?"
"She got suddenly sick. She sleeps hell a lot but that also means she almost doesent eat or drink. I don't know what to do" Delsin sigh
"Can i see her? Maybe i can recognise the symptoms if it has something to do with Davids previous experiments" Roger suggested.
"The guy is dead. How can something still be related to him?" Delsin asked and walked to the bedroom door, silently opened it and peeked into the room. "Ah?" he mumbled and walked in, me and Roger following. I understood Delsins reaction immediately. Gwens hair turned white.
"David did lots of different tests on his subjects, only he truly knew what was going on" Roger stepped closer "But that doesen't look normal.."
Delsin took her hands into his and sharply let go, a soft hiss escaping from his lips.
"I had no idea she had some sort of electrical powers." he said and waved his hands infront of him to ease the pain. I sat on the bed on the other side, Roger standing behind me.
"So you haven't seen anything like that before?" i looked up at Roger.
"I heard rumors...but i never thought they were true" he hesitated.
"What is it?" Delsin asked, looking at Roger
"Well..David did lots of experiments, one of then transferring powers from one conduit to another." he explained.
"I realised that after she suddenly had healing ability" Delsin looked back at Gwen.
"Looks like her body doesent well cope with the new stuff" i added and placed my hand onto her shoulder.
"She can heal others too. She saved me..then she got powers from David and it made her immune to him" Delsin continued.
"Looks like he turned her into a power sponge" Roger added.
"Like Delsin. But she got it through more dangerous way." i looked at Del
"Yeah and against her own will as well. Right now it looks like it can cause a lot of damage to her" Delsin held Gwens hands again
"She will live. I can feel it" Roger said
"She better stay alive. She has a grown up kiddo to take care of" i added in a bit annoyed tone and nudged Del. That brought a smile to everyone, exept the sleeper.
"Thanks Fetch...thanks for calling me a kid infront of your friend" he slightly shook his head and pulled his hands sharply away from Gwen again "Ahh...Gwen, if you hear me, please try to stop tazing me." he added and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. I looked at Roger with a worried look
"Let me try something" Roger said. Delsin immediately looked at Roger with a suspicious look.
"What are you going to try?" he looked like a wolf defending his mate, ready to rip everyone into pieces.
"Trust me" Ro said and sat infront of me and took her hand while closing his eyes. Delsin leaned towards me.
"What is he doing?" he whispered.
"I don't know. I think he tries to talk to her. He is a bit of a telepath as we know" i replied in a whisper. Roger opened his eyes and let go of Gwens hand.
"She is alright. Those powers took all of her energy and somehow she needs to recharge. You can compare it to winter sleep. I suggest you to take care of her but most importantly...let her rest" he said to Delsin.
"That is good to know and all but isn't she going to dehydrate or starve while sleeping so much?" Delsin asked.
"Somehow her body doesent need it. Everything..froze" Roger replied.
"Everything froze? No suprise when she has ice powers" i pointed out and earned a short laugh from Del. Roger smiled and looked from me back to Delsin.
"She needs to get through this on her own. You can't help her" he said.
"I can only keep an eye on her. And watch out for getting tazed" Delsin rubbed gently Gwens arm. "What are you two doing here anyway?" he looked back at us.
"Asking his phone back" i answered.
"Where is it?" Roger looked at Del with a bit unexplainable look. Del stood up and walked towards the door.
"It definetly isn't in this room" Delsin walked to the livingroom, both of us following. "You man have some issues. I searched through your phone because she..." Delsin pointed at me with Rogers phone."..asked me to"
"It's none of your business" Roger grabbed his phone. Delsin walked to me and whispered
"I made a folder of the stuff and i can send it to you"
"Thanks D. That would be just great" i chuckled. Roger seemed to check the things in his phone before putting it away to his pocket. "I think we can leave now" i smirked towards Roger. "Good luck with Gwen" i added while opening the door. As soon as we got out of the building i felt my phone buzz. "So..want to tell me what's in your phone?" i asked, holding my phone in my hand and opening the folder that D sent.
"Well, looks like you can find out yourself"
"You are a smart guy" i looked how the folder slowly started to open. "But i would like to hear from you first"
"Just family pictures.." he answered, avoiding looking at me.
"Are you sure? Yesterday you blushed at that question" i pointed out.
"Ugh..look for yourself if you don't believe"
I got the folder open and went through the files.
"One big part of family pictures..then random stuff...what..is...that?" i suddenly mumbled and stopped walking
"Show me" he stood closer to me to get a look at the screen.
"I knew i got somewhat famous thanks to helping Smokes..but i had no idea someone could draw this of me?" i was quite shocked at those a few erotic fantasy pictures.
"Oh..crap." he started blushing "I totally forgot about that. I swear these are not done by me." he turned slightly nervous.
"Now i know what D meant under what he said" i put my phone away "You shouldn't use internet anymore"
"I have the live version now..I'm happy about that" he switched back to good old confidence.
"So live version is better huh?" i nudged him with my hip as we started to walk again.
"Yeah sure it is." he placed one hand on my hip and pulled me closer
"You are fun. Good i called you back to the hideout"
"I know im irresistable." he smirked.
