Next year had arrived. Me and Delsin celebrated the New Year's Eve alone in the apartment, drinking hot chocolate while watching the fireworks on the roof at midnight. Finally the ground was covered with snow. Well, actually the snow arrived right after Christmas. It was nice to see it anyway.
The next morning i was calmly sleeping when i got woken up by a certain man. I turned onto my back and sleepily opened my eyes, his looking back into mine.
"What are you looking at?" i asked sleepily.
"Hmm...i think i'm looking at my lady." he smiled innocently. I somehow noticed it wasnt his usual innocent smile. It was kinda similar to the look a guilty feeling pet has when it has done something bad. I was like shaken awake. "I accidentally burned the coffee machine" he admitted and looked even more guilty and sat at my feet.
"H-How??" i asked and sat up.
"Well...i saw a huge spider...." he started telling the story
"What!? Did you kill it?" there was no sighn of sleepyness. I got out of bed and walked slowly to the kitchen. "I hate spiders." i whispered. Delsin was right after me. i looked around the corner and actually the damage was worse. Whole corner behind the coffee machine was burnt black.
"I think i roasted that bastard" Delsin whispered to my ear. I walked into the room and looked at the corner.
"Good you didn't burn the whole apartment down" i patted his shoulder. "You fix this also. Get new coffee machine also" i smirked at him and returned to bed.
