Idols from Over the Ridge

Intro

Four friends sat around in a local diner, all lost in thought about what they want to do in life. The oldest of the four was already out of school and was working at a manual labour job while the other three were still in highschool. It wasn't until one of them chimed in about their auditions they sent in to some companies in Korea.

"I received some letters back, but they're probably rejection letters like they always are" the oldest sighed as she drank her milkshake "besides even if I got accepted I wouldn't go without you guys"

"Aww our cold facaded unnie won't follow a career without us" the second youngest chooed as she pinched the oldest's cheek.

"You know I couldn't leave you guys behind, besides it's more likely for you to get in Kid Leader, after all you're better at dancing than the rest of us"

"She's true though, you'd be more likely to get accepted. I don't even know what I'd do about school if I were accepted into a company" the youngest sighed as she reached into her backpack "am I the only one who brought there letters?"

The others reached into their jackets and pulled out a stack of letters from various companies. They organized them by company and each took turns reading company and their status.

"Pledis? I got rejected"

"Rejected"

"No go"

"Aw same now I can't meet Jisoo. what about JYP? I got rejected"

"Nah, but now I can't be in the same company as I.N"

"I got rejected I don't even know why I auditioned for him in the first place"

"And no meeting Felix for me, FNC? I got rejected again"

"Same, but that's surprising since that company is pretty much a dance academy"

"Seriously but I just rejected as well"

"Damn I wanted to meet Seolhyun and HyeJeong"

"What's up with you and older idols?"

"Hey leave me alone last time I checked you're pretty much a three year old. Plus I'd rather date someone older than me"

"Meanie, also I'm five not three"

"Okay knocked it off you two. We just have one letter left"

"Yeah SM, and if we didn't get into the other companies there's no way we got into SM"

"Let's open it at the same time and say what we got"

As they carefully opened the envelopes they all felt as if time has stopped. What they didn't expect was that they all got accepted and were put into the same trainee class.

"We're going to Korea!" the youngest shouted as she nearly knocked over her milkshake "whoops, my bad"
