Idols from Over the Ridge

Sunday January 13th 1:30 am

"Ugh why did we have to get a flight that leaves at two in the morning Cory?" Sammy groaned as she leaned against Ashley as the four walked towards their gate.

"Maybe cause it's a 19 hour flight Sam" Shay yawned as she set her stuff in a seat close to the gate "besides be happy that SM paid for our flights or else we would've had to bribe our families to pay for it"

The girls sat on the floor in front of the seats and began going through their things, making sure that they had everything they needed for the flight. Cory seemed like the only one not fazed about flying for a long time, while the others were a bit antsy.

"How are you not nervous Cory? Like seriously we're going to Korea and going to be at SM" Ashley pointed out as she slipped her passport into her hoodie pocket.

"You guys are forgetting that I'm a master of hiding my emotions, hence why people call me ice princess" Cory yawned as she started at the people walking by "Besides this is more enjoyable from the last time I flew somewhere"

The girls waited for another twenty minutes before they were able to board, thankful that somehow they got moved up to first class with the sleeper seats. Sammy and Shay were next to eachother then Ashley and Cory were behind them. For the younger girls the flight seemed to drag on forever but the girls behind them seemed to pass the time by binge watching shows while playing wifi free games on their phones.

"Hey guys look out the window we're flying over Jeju!" Sammy whisper shouted as she leaned closer to the window "wahhh I can't believe that we're really here guys"

"Thank god I took online Korean while I was out for workers comp" Cory sighs as she put her nintendo switch into her backpack "Remember we're in a different country so we can't act like complete idiots"

"Wow I thought I was the mom here" Ashley laughed as she pulled her hoodie back on "also do you know where we need to go?"

"I think we're supposed to meet someone that has our names on a piece of paper" Shay chimed in as she looked over her letter before the plane landed on the runway "welp time to find our person to take us to our new home"

As the four piled off of the plane they began looking for someone who had their names, it took them awhile before finding a guy in casual attire and wearing a dust mask. Cory quickly gestured for the girls to hurry and bowed as she walked in front of the man.

"Hello sir I'm assuming you're the one that's taking us to the company building" Shay panted in fairly decent Korean.

"Yes, I am now follow me and no need to speak in Korean if you're not comfortable" the man chuckled as he led the them to a van with tinted windows.

While climbing into the van Shay and Cory looked at each other as if they heard the voice of their driver before, but the soon brushed it off as they pulled off their dust masks. Leah glanced over at their driver as he pulled his own dust mask off revealing a very familiar face.

"Oh my Jisoo! You're Choi SiWon-sunbae of Super Junior!" Sammy exclaimed giving the other girls a heart attack "Wahhhhh Cory-unnie look it's your bias in person"
