Idols from Over the Ridge

After spending a day getting used to the new environment they were showed to their dance room where they would be practicing for now. It's been an hour of them goofing off they were called into a recording room, one that they recognized as the one they use for trainee vocal evaluations. A sudden wave of nerves washed over them as they looked over at one of the vocal coaches and one of the many managers that have yet to be assigned a group. The vocal coach told them that they were taking some SMRookies to SMTOWN for special stages and wanted to see if they were prepared enough to go along being the newest additions to SM. The four were shocked to say the least since the concert was this weekend, but figured that idols have to do last minute performances so they agreed to do a vocal evaluation now to see if they could go.

"Great! Now what song would you guys like to perform? We could do an acoustic session here Sand decide later if that's the song you'd like to do" the vocal coach offered as he picked up a guitar from the other side of the room "Also this is Ahn HongSeok, CEO-sunbae assigned him to you guys"

"Nice to meet you HongSeok sunbae" the four bowed before looking at each other.

"Would the company mind us doing an English song?" Ash asked as she looked over at the vocal coach.

"They wouldn't mind, after all you're the only group of trainees that fluently speak English, so what song were you four thinking of? We can do anything from TLC to Ariana Grande" the vocal coach replied as he turned the guitar.

"Well we're all fans of Little Mix so could we do their song Black Magic?" Sammy asked as she looked over at their manager.

"That's up to you girls, I'm just here to supervise and each of you have a meeting with an artist here after this session" HongSeok hummed as he glanced at his watch, and went to shift his footing only to stumble and fall to his knees.

The girls muffled their laughs with their hands as Ash and Cory went to help him up, while making a remark about him being clumsier than Sammy. Shay laughed as she nudged Leah saying that maybe HongSeok is her long lost cousin or something.

"I think you girls should get t to doing your vocal evaluation before you end up being late for your individual meetings" HongSeok stuttered as a bright red blush spread across his cheeks.

The vocal coach laughed at HongSeok as he began strumming the guitar, saying that the girls could start whenever they're ready. The girls quickly stood in an order that they've seen Little Mix stands in for this song, so it was Shay, Sammy, Cory than Jae. The four of them never sung the acoustic version of this song so they decided to treat it as if they were singing a capella. When the song was over there was the sound of clapping coming from the hallway.

"Well looks like the artists you're supposed to go to meet came to you guys. Also you four are talented vocally, but like always everyone has room for improvement" the vocal coach smiled as he set the guitar down "Shay follow Yesung, Ash follow Baekhyun, Sammy follow Jisung and Cory follow Jungwoo. They'll explain to you what they want from you"

"The way you phrased that made it sound like we're trying to bribe them into doing something" Baekhyun stated as he rested his wrist on Ash's shoulder causing her to go bright red.

Sammy's POV

As I followed Jisung I felt my cheeks start to heat up, I know that Jungwoo and Cory are behind us but it still awkward to be around Jisung. When we reached two adjacent practice rooms Cory and Jungwoo went into one while we into the other. As we entered the practice room I heard someone scream Jisung's name causing me to jump and cling onto Jisung's arm which made me blush more.
