Ash's POV

I was out of the company building for a break, which meant I'm heading towards a local coffee shop to read for a bit. It's way too tense at the dorms lately and I don't know why, but it could be that Cory is getting distant again which is never good. Deciding to push that aside for a bit I entered the coffee shop and sat at the back with my book. Reading seemed to be one of the only things I could do that distracts me, besides Criminal Minds or Supernatural.

"Um excuse me miss, I think you dropped this" a voice said coming from my right.

I looked over to see JeongIn from Stray Kids, which made me nearly fall out of my seat. I noticed that he was holding my bookmark in his hand so I thanked him before taking it from him. He asked if I was as fan of his group, which made me look at him weirdly before asking him how he knew.

"Noona you're wearing a shirt that says Stray Kids on it I kinda assumed" JeongIn smiled, showing his bracesless teeth.

"Y yeah I'm a fan" I stuttered as I looked up at him "You look good without your braces by the way I.N sunbae"

"A ah thanks noona, I was worried that Stay would be upset that I had them taken off" JeongIn smiled until he heard someone call his name "Ah I gotta go bye noona!"

I felt my cheeks heat up a bit before I went back to reading, which once again didn't last long since I heard someone call my name. I sighed before looking up to see Yeri walking over to me with a coffee in her hand. I asked her what's up and she said that she needed a break cause everything was getting tense during their dance practice.

"All this started after getting back from SMTOWN and Cory won't tell us what happened between her and Irene sunbae" I sighed as I closed my book "all I know is if they don't make up I don't see Cory lasting long without breaking"

"What do you mean by 'breaking'?" Yeri asked as she set her coffee down "like physically break or mentally"

"Eh a mix of both, mentally first which I kinda think she already did" I sighed before pushing my hair back "If she breaks physically that's when we'd have to start checking her wrists"

"Why would you need to check her wrists?"

"Why do you think, if she's already mentally broken what's the next thing that could happen"

"She injures herself?"

"Yep, last time she did it it was October of 2017"

"Why though"

"The girl she liked as took to our school dance shut her out, which is something that Cory fears the most"

"Dang, also we should do something about those two. Like lock them in a room together or something"

I looked over at her shocked before kinda agreeing, but asked how they were gonna do it since both groups have been constantly practicing lately. Yeri offered that she brings Irene to my group's practice room since the one we use is shared with us and every once in a while one of the NCT subunits. Deciding that it was one of the only ways to get the two to talk I nodded and told Yeri that Cory was probably the only one in the practice room. We both got up to leave to head back to the company to drag the other members into their plan. Once we reached the dorms we noticed that the other members of Red Velvet were walking out of their dorm so Yeri and I grabbed them and pulled them into my dorm.
