Deku and I both manage to make it to the starting tunnel. Tenya and Uraraka are waiting for us
Uraraka: Well it's about time you two got here
Tenya: From the looks of it the race is just about to get started
Without any warning. Present mic yells over the loudspeaker. Looks like the race begins. Everyone begins to cram themselves in the tunnel. I begin to think to myself about possible quirk usage
If todoroki is in the lead he can use his ice quirk to mess with the tunnel. and get an early advantage. It's clear that I should avoid going through the tunnel as that's probably the worst place to be anyway.
I look around to see if there's a way out of the coliseum. The only ways I can think of are either going above or below. I don't have much time. I look to the top of the coliseum.
(Y/N): She did say we could use our quirks anyway we wanted to
I shoot a webline and yank myself into the air. The crowd notices this and begins to cheer. I fly by the sea of spectators. All of them looking in amazement

Aizawa: Looks like (Y/N) is taking a more creative approach

Aizawa: It actually makes a lot of sense (Y/N) is a thinker. It's clear he's doing this because the tunnel to him is a bad idea. Since the students are allowed to use their quirks the tunnel is the easiest way to use a quirk to your advantage.
Mic: Not only that but (Y/N) gets extra style points for flexing his creative muscle and quirk to the audience
Todoroki Pov:
When the race starts I'm easily able to get ahead of everyone and using my ice quirk I'm able to freeze the rest of the tunnel not only freezing people behind me but also halting forward progression.
Todoroki: I hope my father sees this and knows I don't need his stupid fire power
Mic: AND IT LOOKS LIKE TODOROKI TAKES AN EARLY LEAD. It was good that (Y/N) avoided the tunnel.
So (Y/N)'s not in the tunnel? It's the only way out of the stadium. Either way I have to stay on my toes. (Y/N) has demonstrated his ability before. Who knows what he could be thinking.
(Y/N) Pov:
Seems my prediction about todoroki and the tunnel was right. Glad I backed the right horse on that one. I make it to the top of the stadium to see the path completely covered in ice.
(Y/N): Jeez Elsa really must've let it go
I jump of the stadium and land on the ice creating an indent on the floor
(Y/N): I really need to stop it with the superhero landings. Wade told me it was bad on the knees.
I shoot two weblines and pull myself on the ice and begin to glide. My body finds its rhythm and I soon begin to brainstorm.
