New York's Riverdale

~ Chapter 4 ~

* Next the day * 

I woke up to smell of bacon and eggs. I have super smell if I can smell it all the way from the kitchen.  I sit up on my bed. It took awhile to realize that I'm in riverdale. This bedroom isn't the same. The color of walls, the size smaller, espically not a three story apartment. I get up from and walk over to window. The very bright sun shines, cars all in line at a light, and very big buildings, we don't have that in Riverdale. 

I stop staring at the window and go straight to my phone. "6:40 I guess I still have time" I go to my restroom and take a shower. Afterwards, I change into some cozy clothes and do my as kevin says 'ionic ponytail'.  I walk out of my bedroom and walk into the kitchen.

"Well goodmorning Betty, I made breakfeast." Mom said and hands my plate.

" Morning Mom, where's Dad and Polly?"

" Polly is getting ready and your father is also too."

"Oh, ok." I said taking a big bite of my breakfeast. I hear a door and turn around to my Dad walking towards us. "Good morning Alice and Betty, where's Polly?" As if on cue Polly walks out "I'm here." Polly and Dad take a seat and eat with mom and I. 

" So, girls are nervous to start school" Dad says to start a conversation.

" Not rea- " "no as long were together well be fine." Polly interrupts me.  " Yeah" I said not exicted.

"Lets go now Betty, we dont want to be late on our first day" Polly said getting up for her seat. " Yeah sure" I said doing the something. " Bye girls, love you" Mom and Dad yell. 

" Betty are you nervous,"she said.

"No, I just missed Riverdale." "I get it Betty, I do too but I think it's better for us here." " Are you sure Polly" " Yes Betty I'm sure. " Maybe she's right, Riverdale wasn't save. The blackhood, Cliffard Blossom. Our family was put in the middle of everything. (Note that in this story Hal isn't the blackhood, it's the janitor from the second half of season two. I just wanted to make that clear.)

  " Betty we're here." "That quick, Poll." Yeah we only live like five mintues from here, come on we need to get our schedules." It's a big school. Bigger then Riverdale high. We walk in and try to find the front office. 

" Betty we'll seprate, you go that way and I'll go the other, we'll meet eachother at the office." I nod my head and headed the direction she pointed at. I kept walking and I could feel eyes on me.I look around to see if Icould ask anyone for directions but everyone seemed to have an intreset in there conversations.

finally I see a girl reading a book alone. She had brown hair and dark skin. I go closer to her. " Hi, sorry to bother you but I'm Betty and I'm new here." "Hi, you are bothering me, but since your new here I'ill help you." "Tthank you, can u show me where the office is." "Sure come with me." I follow her til we reach a sign that says front office.

"I'm Michelle by the way, but my friends call me MJ." "Thank you, Michelle." " To you call me MJ." "So does that mean I'm your friend." " Sure call it that, I'll see you around Betty." "You too" 

Iwalk into the office.I already see Polly there. "Where you Betty." "I got lost and asked someone for directions." I sighed. "You must be Elizabeth Cooper." A woman sitting at the desk asks. "Yes, but please call me Betty." I said trying not to sound rude.

"Well then Betty, heres your schedules." She says handing me a paper. Ii took the paper from her hands a look at it. Great english first. " Now girls its first period right now so you better get to class" we nod our heads and walk out.

"Let me see your schedule betty." I handed it to her. " Man" she said upset. "What" "We don't have any classes together,I'm sorry Betty." "It's okay, I can mange." I said. I dont know if I really can. 

I finally the english the room alone. Polly already found her's. I got this, no need to get nervous. I build up the courage and I open the door, and walk in. " Well hello new face, you must be the new student?" "Yeah hi" "Okay, care to inturduce your self new kid?" "Um my names Betty Cooper and I moved here from Riverdale." "Good, Betty now go and take a seat."

 I look around to see any empty seats,I see one next to this brown-haired boy. I go and sit it that seat.  " So your new here" I hear a soft voice coming from the boy next to me. "Y yeah, I'm Betty." "Peter and this is my friend Ned."He points to a boy with dark hair and alittle chubby. "Hi" "Do you want to want us to be your first friends here" Ned says. 

"Sure I could use some." We laughed. The whole period we were just talking about random things at school, like clubs and a bully named Flash. We talked for so long the bell ringed. "So I'll see you guys." "Yeah" They said. I walked out the door, til I hear some yell my name..

  m really proud of this story but hopefully it gets better.
