New York's Riverdale

~ Chapter 2 ~

"what why" I said with tears coming out of my eyes. "betty, please don't cry" my mom told me trying to clam down. "mom, why we cant leave our life here and start over" "yes we can betty, I think we need this even Polly." "betty it'll be okay, as long as I'm with you, everything will be okay" Polly says. I know she only saying that to calm me down, but it still doesn't help. either way my parents already took the offer. "when do we leave" I said softly "tomorrow, I already told the school." "why so soon mom." I said trying to convince her to stay a little longer. "the sooner the better." "okay, well I'm going to pops with v, arch and jug" "okay, stay safe, and come back early so you can pack" "alright" oh god how I'm I going to tell them. 

*at pops*

I walk inside pops making the little bell ring. I find the booth that their sitting. I slid into the booth with jug next me. "oh my god, Betty what happened" veronica said very concerning. "remember when I said my parents got offer for a new job." everyone nods. "well, they decided to take the job, but- "but what betty" Archie says trying to make me continue. "we have to move to new York." "what" everyone said very loudly. "betty, no I just came from there do you have to go." veronica said, now she's trying to make stay. "yeah I do, I'm so sorry guys" "Betts its not your fault" jug said. he sounded sad, sadder then me.

after that we just talked about random things. most of the time I zone out. in new York where would I go to school. where would we leave. why did my parents decide to accept it. after sometime it started getting late so, we went out said of pops and I said my goodbyes to veronica and Archie. I'm gonna miss them so much. jug offered to walk me home. while walking we talked about how we used to do fun things when we were kids. after that long walk we reached my house. "betty are you sure you cant stay." "I'm sorry jug" "its okay" "this wont change us right?" I said curious of his answer. "never even in new York ill go visit you" "I love you jug" I say with a huge smiled on my face. "I love you too, Betts" then I gave him one last kiss. I walked inside the house. there was boxes everywhere. "oh betty, I already packed everything for you" "oh um thanks mom" "there's pjs and clothes to change into for the morning tomorrow" "okay, goodnight mom" "goodnight betty."

*the morning*

"betty, betty" I get shocked out of bed. "betty, hurry get up, we have to leave soon" "okay, okay I'm up" "hurry, change and eat then were out of here" Polly said with a smile on her face. I get out of bed and do my morning routine. "hurry betty come eat then were off" mom said happily. I ate breakfast real fast cause everyone was rushing me. while I walk to the car I see Archie standing out. I wave and say ill miss you to him. he says it back. my parents and Polly get in the car. "you ready to go" "ready as ill ever be" I put on my headphones and drift off looking out in the window. I look out and see the 'welcome to Riverdale' going smaller and smaller. I cant believe we actually left. I doze off for the whole ride falling asleep. "betty wake up" Polly says "we're here betty" I look out to big builds and a bunch of traffic.
