"Greetings. You will know me as Coral Facet-0A6A Cut-2AB: Original Prototype, underwent several modifications, previously serving under the command of White Diamond. I am at your command now, I am loyal to serve and provide you with information. I only request that you watch after my gemstone for it quite fragile with age and remember, never lose track of the time."

The message lingers in my ears, fresh. it was disturbing on multiple levels. Yet, the echoes from the gemstone's voice were distant, lost somewhere in my memory. It was strange, somewhere within my own gem, I recognized this being. I think I know her.

It was evident the gemstone was no more than a mere victim of gem harvest and reformation. The machinery was obviously built around the gem, trapping it. Such a sight made my insides crawl with an uncomfortable tingling sensation.

No one can be sure how she came to be.

Such a magnificent being of creation,

Our creator, my creator.

The sweet sound of singing drifted through the room as gems of all sorts twirled around, each being as unique as the other. Their forms consisted of fine detailed patterns and outfits that fill the room as paint would to a mural. Diamond herself was singing at the very center, her soft harmonic voice brought a sense of peace to our ears. I thanked the gem across be for inviting me to dance and glided over to her. Diamond herself, was a sight to behold. Her body seemed to sparkle creating an illusion of color change. She reflected light around her and filled the once dark room with multiple colors. Her dazzling beauty amazed us all.

"It's an honor to be at your presence, Diamond. My name is Corealle." She paused from her singing and smiled down on me.

"My! You're a beautiful one! Alas, there is no need to be so formal! After all, this is a ball!" She replied. Her voice captivated me, leaving me in a sort of trance.

I blinked snapping me back to my reality. I held my head down; I hope to see didn't catch me staring..."

She chuckled softly. "There's nothing wrong with looking, I do have a reputation for catching the eyes of many." Her voice still playful. She was far too kind. I smiled, Diamond really was something else...

What used to be the Geoid Star System, was not more.

Everything has changed.

With that one invasion.

Gems were remodified to fit certain molds.

Uniqueness had no place in this new world.

Everything remains the same and is created with a purpose.

The names of gems.

Their abilities.

Gem shape.

Even gem production was all the same.

This is the start of Era One

What was once a place of unexpected excitement and peace, was now a place of order, stability, ruling, and power.

Gems know it as Homeworld.

Author's Note: I gonna be honest, the original Forgotten Gem, really sucks.
I hate it so much.
Here are ten reasons why: (YAY ROASTING TIME..)
1. *Grammar has left the story*
2. WTF IS
3. SO MANY LOOPHOLES. LOOPHOLES EVERYWHERE
4. Do you even know how a gem works?
5. The story itself isn't great
6. What is character development? Can you eat it?
7. Yo, the story is way too obvious, we all know what's gonna happen next.
8. Boring to read at times.
9. Updating schedule really sucks.
10. Why are all the characters so freaking emotional...like take a chill pill...jeez.

So, in order to fix all of this, I rewriting it. The Entire Thing...

(After reading the reasons...I pretty sure there's more than ten...)
