Okay, so my extended family came over today and one of my Aunties brought over this huge cheesecake and I was like “Omigod that looks amazing!"
So here’s what happened:
Auntie: “You want a slice?”
Me: “Hell yes! Looks delicious, wow you’re a good cook!”
Brother: “No, you don’t like cheesecake”
Me:
Brother:
Me:
Brother:
Me: “Since WHEN?”
Brother: “Um, since, forever!”
Me: “I’ve ALWAYS liked cheesecake, we live under the same roof how can you NOT know that?!”
Brother: “Nah! I remember the time when we went on that holiday and we went out for dinner and the desert was cheesecake and you said you didn’t want it”
Me: “We went on that holiday when I was four…”
Brother: “So?”
Me: “SO I WAS FOUR!”
Brother: “Stop trying to change the subject”
Me: “I didn’t eat it because YOU told me it was made of kangaroo pee and crushed caterpillars!!”
Brother: “Liar”
Me: “You can’t decide what I eat”
Brother: “What if it’s my food?”
Me: “What if it’s not?”
Brother: “What if it is?”
Me: “It isn’t”
Brother: “How do you know? You have no solid evidence that I DIDN’T make that cheesecake”
Me: “Auntie, do you promise to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?”
Auntie: “Yep”
Me: “Did you, or did you not, bake this cheesecake?”
Auntie: “I most certainly did, bake this cheesecake”
Me: “There is your evidence”
Brother: “We can’t take her word for it”
Me: “You don’t trust Auntie?”
Brother: “It’s a job requirement”
Me: “You don’t have a job”
Brother:
Me:
Brother:
Me:
Brother:
Auntie: “DO YOU WANT THE BLOODY CHEESECAKE!??”
Me: “Yes Auntie, thankyou”
Do you see how annoying it is? You know what’s worse? I DIDN’T eat all of the cheesecake because I kept thinking of kangaroo pee and crushed caterpillars. Then of course my brother was all like “I told you so! I told you! I told you that you didn’t like cheesecake!”
It is at this point that I pull out a TAR-21 and shoot myself. Over cheesecake!
I died because of CHEESECAKE!! Depressing right?
