"I will eat when I'm hungry", I say closing the fridge.

"Ah, but you are always hungry. You are always moving, always using energy. You need to keep moving, which means you need to keep eating."

His reasoning was starting to make some sense, but I had heard all these before. I had gotten pretty good and fighting it.

"I think I will be fine", smiling as I turn to see our sneaky little riser.

Glutton was in his favorite baby onesie. It had feeties and was bright baby blue...at least it used to be. Over time it became covered with hot sauce, barbeque sauce, ranch, honey mustard, you name it... We throw it in the wash of course, but it ends up becoming full of food all over again. I mean, the pockets do come in handy. Whenever we need it he always has a bag of skittles to keep me alert and awake. Especially if I was studying for a test late at night. I was grateful for that. He really was sweet, like a little oversized baby. All he could do was eat, sleep, and occasionally crack a really dumb joke.

Glutton made his way over to the counter where I was sitting. He doesn't really walking, but more like waddle. He had a bib from last night's lobster still hanging around his neck. He has to waddle, as he is considerably heavy. He has real short curly fry hair, dark chocolate eyes, and looks like a chocolate marshmallow. So if you can imagine a dark chocolate marshmallow in a stained faded baby blue onesie...you have my friend Glutton. Looking back, it was a pretty funny picture.

I couldn't help but be amused by this marshmallow. He took a look at the stool in front of him and fidgeted to get on it comfortably.

"You ready to get some exercise done today?" I ask with my eyebrow raised.

He stares at me, then with a smile creeping across his face, "You know that's not really my style...."

He winks, his hand reaching across the counter toward donuts, that came out from who knows where. (I may need to mention that Glutton has the ability to find any food he wants, even if he has to make it appear himself). My hand slams on the box, "Oh no you don't".

I take the box away and put it on the other side of the kitchen. "You know that we had a deal when I moved in with you all".

He tries to plead with his eyes, but can't help but laugh out loud. "Yes m'lady".

When I first came to understand the type of roommates I had gained, it was a little...odd..to use a word at first. I was skeptic to stay or leave within the first day and a half..Each one of the 7s had a weird quirk. Each one different and drastic. But one thing they all had in common. None of them were happy. I wasn't happy for the longest time before too...so part of the deal of me staying was that I would help them to overcome their "weaknesses". Or at least try to help moderate them, so they weren't fully captive of them....I could understand where they came from. There is a lot more of how we really met, but that is for a latter time.

I was almost completely lost in thought and laughing that I didn't notice another donuts box appearing. I grabbed it quickly before Glutton could make a move...Too be honest, he really wasn't that fast anyways.

Glutton's issue is an interesting case, somewhat laughable. The Latin root "gula" means to gulp down or swallow. To overeat or over-consume. Glutton although this morning was dressed as a blue baby, could change his appearance much like the other 7s. Not in face, but in how they dress and act, depending on where they are. To be specific, their attitude changes. If Glutton was a at a fancy restaurant, he would still be heavy and have curly fry hair, but he would eat the most expensive things on the menu. He would order all the food, and never finish because he would just keep ordering more and more. If he was on the sidewalk, he would go into every dinner, store, or bar and no matter the time, go get food to eat. If you took him home to meet your grandmother and she puts a plate a freshly made cookies in front of you, they would all be in his mouth before your grandmother had a chance to sit down.

"You sleep okay?" He says as I come back from putting the second donut box on top of the first.

I know why he has been asking. The dreams have only gotten slightly better. One of the reasons I sleep in the same room as Sloth. She barely does anything, too lazy to get up or to be bothered with literally everything. She seemed like the least likely person to bother with my restlessness. She also happens to be a complete slob. Which isn't her fault really, its part of her condition. She doesn't leave me fully hanging especially if it was a hard night, but she knows I like to be able to handle myself. Which she likes, because she likes to well...sleep.

"I slept alright." I said taking a deep breath in. "Breakfast? I can my famous French Toast."

"Yeesss!!" His eyes twinkling, "You make the best breakfasts ever!"

"Shhhhhh!!" I tried to quiet him down. It was still early, and I knew a few of the 7s who hated being up early, mainly because they were up late.

"What's going on?" Two voices echoed one another. Glutton has woken up the "twins".

They weren't really twins, we just called them that. They were so similar and in sync with each other. One was never really seen without the other close by. Greed and Envy. Greed was a very tall man who had a piercing in his left ear. Gold curly locks, with hazel eyes. He constantly was wearing gold. Whether it be a gold chain or watch or whatever. This morning was no different. He had on golden silk pajamas with slippers to match. Him and Envy were up late last night doing who knows what, who knows where. I stay out of it for the most part, but at home I made sure they learned to share. For the most part they were agreeable...for the most part.

Envy looked just like Greed, except for a few things. Originally Envy had dark hair. He constantly bleaches though in order to copy Greed. Even has a piercing, on the other ear though. He wants to be at the same level, but let people know that he is his own person too. Envy was wearing green silk pajamas...with gold lining. Matching slippers included. His eyes were, you guessed it green and always had a look that made you nervous and check yourself for your wallet.

"Why on earth are you both up so early?" Greed stated coming down the stairs, "The sun has just peaked up."

"Just making some breakfast," I replied. "Its a lovely morning."

Envy looked about Glutton and me, a jealous look creeping across his face. I had to act fast.

"Come on down you two," I said waving, "I will make an extra big batch".

"That's all good. But what about those two?" Glutton guffawed, slapping his belly.

Greed and Envy sat at the counter whilst I turned to grab some bread, milk, eggs and cinnamon. I could hopefully keep these three quiet so the other four could sleep. Sloth wouldn't mind, and maybe not Lust. I had a feeling he would be down really soon, craving for some food. Pride and Wrath though, those girls could cause a ruckus. This was going to be an interesting day.

But life's always interesting. Especially if you live in the same house as the 7DSs.
