I feel like I should probably take a step back and explain. Who am I? Why am I living with the 7DSs? My name, you already know, though you may not remember or realize who it is. But it is me. What do I look like? I'm five feet and two inches tall, so pretty short. I have short dark hair and tan skin. I have dark brown, almost black eyes. The number one thing that makes me easy to recognize though is my glasses. They are grey with black tips and the lens are big and clear. They draw a lot of attention to my eyes. I think that's my best feature...if I had any. I'm not really a person who likes to talk about themselves much to Pride's annoyance. She says I need to be more empowered and, well, take "pride" in my self. Which I am all good for. I don't think down on myself, I just don't like to keep all the attention to myself. More of a listener and observer than the main attraction.

How I ended up with the 7DSs is another story. I was recently a graduate from high school and ready to take my place in the world. I came from a really big family, and learning to take care of myself I learned early in life. When everyone has their own agenda, you got to learn to plan your own meals. It was not a bad childhood. I loved and still love my family. They are the best and keep me going. I was just ready to get some space. So I set off to find myself.

Finding myself took me down to Colorado. Being from the New England area, Colorado was loads warmer and lots more mountains. It was a beautiful calming sight. When it's early morning and I am sitting at the window seat in the dining room of the 7DSs, I like to snuggle up in the corner and watch the sun raise above the mountain. The beams of light color the sky and the shadows in the room seem to start dancing.

Basically what had happened was I was on my way down state heading towards the Four Corners area. The place that connects Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. I thought it would be so cool to be able to stand in all four states at the same time. I hitched a ride with this trucker to drive me down to Cortez from Durango. It was about 5 o'clock when we left Durango so with almost an hour long drive, it was getting darker outside. We were driving for about half an hour and out of no where it got really stormy out. I was in the trucker with Dan and out of no where clouds started appearing in the sky.

"Looks like rain." Dan growled.

He wasn't the most jolly person to be around, but I needed a ride. His truck was covered with postcards from each state. Hawaii, Utah, Main, Washington, Dan went all over stateside trucking. I met in a Denny's in Denver when I trying to hitch a ride. He had a big truck and after a butt load of pancakes he was able to let his hard callous side down enough to open up and let me hitch a ride. He seemed to be dark and angry, but postcards were not the only thing covering the inside of his card....Dan was a Disnerd. A term that apparently is quite new, but used often by those in love with Disney as I found out. The first clue? Mickey Mouse seat covers, Goofy window shades, and man, many, many Disney key chains. All over the mirror.

Also fun fact: Goofy is a cow...I had no clue.. But Dan was open to talk about anything. All I did was complement the window shades. And off he went. You got to admit that he was in touch with his inner child, that's not a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all. I just got a little tired of listening to It's a Small World After All....after the 86th time..and counting...

We were driving down the highway and clouds started forming. Soon sprinkling, then raining, then pounding. Then the thunder rolled.

"It's going to be a rough ride." Dan said, "It's getting hard to see, we might have to stop soon."

I wasn't too keen on stopping, but I wasn't too keen on this weather either. Still I didn't know where we would stop, I haven't heard of a town near here. The lightning kept striking over and over, moving faster and faster.

"We need to stop. I'm going to turn in the next thing we find."

I wasn't confident with the term 'thing', but it was getting worse. We drove for another 10 minutes til we saw a sign. It read : "Welcome to the Beautiful Mancos Valley, Between Mesa Verde and the Mountains". Underneath it hung a white sign barely able to be seen saying "Good Luck and Forgotten".
