6. Dance With Me - PP

2nd POV

"Peter. Peter. Peter." You prodded his cheek whilst laying on your stomach on his bed.

"What?" He chuckled.

"I'm bored."

"Well what d'you want me to do about it?" He rolled his eyes playfully.

"I don't know." You huffed feeling defeated. Peter had invited you round his apartment to study. In reality that always led to just him studying while you gave up after five minutes.

All of a sudden Peter stood up from the bed putting his textbook on his small desk and stood in front of you. Arms folded. Head tilted.

"What?" You asked, clearly not in the mood for Peter to be mocking you. He smiled whilst rolling his eyes again. His eyes widened and he rushed over to his desk drawer rummaging through. "Pete? What are you doing?"

He mumbled to himself before finally pulling out an old speaker he had fixed up. He connected his phone and began playing a song. Your song.

'It's been a long, long time' by June Christy began playing quietly out of the speaker. Your head perked up as Peter looked at you with an outstretched arm.

"Dance with me." He said gently.

"What?"

"Dance with me, Y/n." He smiled, a blush rising to his cheeks. And one on yours as well. You arose from the bed in your pyjama bottoms and peters T-shirt and placed your arms around his neck.

He held your waist and took small steps around his tiny bedroom dancing to the music with you.

You couldn't stop looking at him with tired eyes and a lazy smile. Whilst he was focused on every feature of your face. He pulled you closer so your arms were now around his waist as well.

"I didn't know you could dance." You told him quietly.

"I can't, I'm just trying not to step on any of Ned's Lego pieces." He chuckled. You simple smiled as he held you neither of you noticing the music had stopped playing but neither of you cared.

"I love you, Y/n."

"I love you too, Pete."

"So much." You both said at the same time.

A/n - Slightly shorter one sorry guys. I've not updated this in a long time the same with my main story but I've had so much on (passed all my GCSE's!!)

Also I wonder if anyone's gonna get the song reference? ;)
