"I'M GOING TO EAT YOU!"
Without thinking, I swam away as fast as I could from Vann.
I didn't even dare to look back.
I don't know why he tricked me, it's painful. I thought he's a good creature.
"Where should I hide?!"
"Should I hide behind a rock or inside bunch of seaweed..." Said myself.
Before I can hide, Vann grab my wrist, and I panicked.
"Le- Let me go!!"
"Why should I? You looked delicious anyway." Said Vann to me.
Suddenly, I cried. Out of nowhere the tears coming out from my eyes and it mixed with the sea water.
"I trusted you..! Why did you do this..?" I shouted.
"Why?" He ask.
"Because you're nothing but just a feast. I would like to devour your taste right now.." He answered.
I... don't want to end like this..
"N- NO!!"
I let go of his grip and started swimming again. But, he made a whirlpool around me, and I can't escape.
"What will you do now? It's over." Said Vann with his creepy expressions.
"I.."
I don't believe it at all..
I keep saying that this is just a dream, and I close both eyes and put both hands on my chest.
Please...
Somebody help me...
"KABLAM!!!!!!!" I heard a sound not to far from where I stopped.
Slowly I open my eyes, and seeing another creature in front of me, and carrying a weapon. And it still looks young, he also got fish scales all over his body, but not a mermaid's tail.
"Begone! And don't ever show yourself again!" Said the creature.
"Oh~ my~ the Triton came back with his old trident." Said Vann
"I banished you from the kingdom, Charybdis, you've killed thousands of man because of the whirlpool, now go back to the deep and never set your tail on the top layer of the sea."
Said the creature that called Triton by Vann.
And with his trident, he waved it at Vann, and then Vann disappeared.
The creature turned back.
"Are you okay ms. mermaid? Are you injured?" He ask.
"No... I'm okay.. thank you for saving me.." I answered him.
"I'm sorry, you must be scared, please let me introduce myself, my name is Triton, I'm the Sea Ruler, Son of Poseidon." Triton said.
Then he took my hand and kiss it. He still looks young, but already a ruler of the sea, that's amazing..
Then I ask him about Vann, and then he told me the truth.
Vann is not the child of Charybdis, but he is the Charybdis. He was banished from the kingdom and changed form. He lied to me because he's looking for a feast that full of water source. Even though we're already inside the sea, I guess it's different from me because as a mermaid, Triton said that mermaid are the source of pure water and bloods.
"Let me take you back to the shore, would you let me guide you, miss?"
Triton ask with polite.
"Your highness.. thank you for your generosity, and your kindness to help me. Before I get back to the shore, I want to explore the sea more."
I answered him.
"I see, well then, take this, it will protect you." He said.
He gave me a seashell's hair clip. And I clip it on my hair.
"Thank you your highness."
I bow and start swimming away from Triton.
I looked back, and waved at him. He also waved back at me.
Then I started swimming again.
And my real journey, starts now.

At the shore
"Selene?" A man ask her.
"Arthur." The woman answered.
"What's wrong?" He ask.
"I can see it, I can see that she's coming." Said the woman.
"Who?" He ask.
With her purple eyes, that got reflected by the moon, she said,
"Athena the Sirene."
