Nowhere

Him

An owl hooted in the middle of the night, waking me up from my nightmare. I glanced outside at the stars and shivered, the wind blew through the open window, giving me goosebumps. As I stared I saw a flash of red in the forest, but as quickly as it came it disappeared. I ignored it and went back to admiring the forest, then I felt a sudden pull, so I looked down. Right below my window was a bright red wolf. There are only three red wolves in the world! They are all very wise, and immortal. They also have certain unknown powers. He seemed to be calling me, and as though I was is a trance, I jumped from the window. When I landed on the ground, I looked up at my window. It's on the tenth floor. That would not have been possible a day ago. I was starting to get freaked out. I looked back towards the red wolf, but he had dived to the edge of the forest as though asking me to follow him. I did just that. We ran quickly through the forest and stopped at a clearing. The wolf went behind a tree, and then a man emerged with the wolf. He had short brown hair, green eyes, and wow was he hot! Six pack and and muscled arms. I caught myself drooling and closed my mouth. The red wolf came beside my and talked into my mind.

"Young one, you have much to learn if you wish to save our race. This man will help you. Goodbye" The red wolf turned and ran into the forest, dissapearing into the night.

"Wait!" i shouted after him. I needed answers, but he was gone. I guess I'll have to get them from the sex god. I turned to whatever-his-name-is and gave him my best tough guy glare. "Who are you and what the hell do you want with me?" He laughed.

"I don't want anything from you. But you want something from me." His smirked widened." And as for who I am, I am just like you. The moon goddess gave me special properties, and gave me a mission. To train you. Oh, and my name is Jace." I glared challengingly.

"Prove it." I silently dared him to refuse. He stepped back, and shifted into a white tiger, slightly bigger then mine. I walked up to him, I really wanted to touch his fur. It was so soft and so silky I just had too. As soon as I touched him, I felt sparks go though my arm. Stronger then any sparks I had with Luca. I stepped back, shocked. He shifted back and he looked shocked too.

"What the hell was that?" I asked. My tiger was urging me to kiss him. Hold on. She was also trying to say something. At the same time we realized what it was.

"Mate," we said together.

"How is this possible?" I asked. "Luca is my mate, not you. I can't have two mates!"

"That's becaus he was your wolf's mate. I am your mate now." He hugged me possessively when I mentioned Luka, bit i pushed him away.
" HELL NO!" I shouted trying to pull out of his arms. " LET ME GO YOU FUCKER!" His grip loosed a little, and a sprinted away. My tiger whined at me, but I ignored her. I pulled around from behind a tree, and ran toward the castle, but my path was blocked by a wall. Scratch that, not a wall, a wall-like person.
"Hey, what are you doing? You can't just leave!" Jace shouted grabbing my arms.
"OF COURSE I CAN I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT! YOU NEED TO LET ME GO, OR LUKA WILL BE AFTER YOU!" A struggled, but it was no use. I'm sad to admit that he is far stronger then me. "YOU ARE NOT MY MATE! LET ME GO!" Sadness flashed across his face, but he concealed it quickly.
" Fine then, whatever. You- you're not my mate. But this isn't about you, or me, it's about what's good for everyone. So, stay here, let me train you. And, and if after a month, if you still want to be with luka, I'll leave you alone. I promise." He looked devastated,but determined. My tiger was yelling at me, but I ignored her. Luka, Luka, luka. Just think of Luka. I took a deep breath. I had to do what was right.
" Fine. One month. Then you leave. Nothing changes, it's like we never met." I grimaced thinking about Luka.
"You'd be surprised what can change in a month" he said smiling.
----- Time skip-----
I feel stronger everyday, and now, it's the last day of our month together, and I never want to leave. Luka... Luka is everything u thoight I wanted, but Jace makes me feel alive, like Luka never did. He is an idiot, but he's my idiot and I don't want him to go. Not that I would ever tell him that.
" hey Jesse?" Jace called
" Yeah? What do you need?"
"Come here for a second." I walked over, and when I got to where Jace was, I couldn't see him. Suddenly I felt arms wrap around me from behind, and a blindfold get put over my eyes.
" What's happening?" I asked questioned. Jace didn't say anything but he started walking, picking me up and carrying me.
"Hey! Put me down!" Jace just laughed.
"Just wait, we'll be there soon." I stayed quiet and waited. It was only about three minutes until he put me down and took off the blind fold.
" You can look now." I opened my eyes and gasped.
" How- how did you do this?!" I i walked froward slowly.
"It was nothing. Wait, this is the best part!" I looked up to see the moon shining on the flowers Jace had somehow made glow, and grown to spell my name inside a heart. When the moon hit them you could see them reflecting light everywhere. It was so beautiful. I turned and looked at him.
" oh man, you don't like it do you? I can try again! I swear I'll do better next ti-" I cut him off by jumping into his ar,s and kissing him.
" I loved it."
"You do realize I have to go talk to Luka, right?" I told Jace several hours later.
"No! I wont have you alone with an unmated male!"
"I can't just dissapear! I have to tell him," I argued back forcefully. He was still my mate. I still loved him.

"If you go, you have to let me mark you." He said carefully. "That way I'll know if your in danger." I thought about it.

"No. But, I will let you come with me. Ok?"

"Ok." I leaned into him and as the moon came up he kissed me. I have to say that it was the best kiss I have ever had.

Luka
My heart burned, and I knew my mate was with someone else. kissing him. i shuddered at the thought. Not that I liked Jesse, but she is mine, she belongs to me. Whoever that is stole her, and nobody takes what's mine. And to think, I though I had her fooled with my lovey-dovey act. I'll try harder on the next girl.
