Tyler and I spent all our time planning. He was the only Alpha that volunteered to help Jace and I so we ended up being together a lot. He was basically a male me, full of sarcasm and jokes. He was also a really sweet guy, and all he ever talked about, was his mate. The way he described her she seemed amazing. He and I became pretty close friends.
"Jesse?" He asked.
"Huh, what?" I said getting focused. I lifted my head off my hand and straightened up. He just looked amused.
" I was asking how you plan on getting into the castle." He chucked shortly at me. I smiled sheepishly.
" Oh, oops, sorry. Anyways, why do we even need to plan? I told you I can do this no problem. I am going to access the castle disguised as a peasant. I will go through the road that leads into the wall and-" I got cut off by Tyler's frustrated groan.
" See this is why we need to plan! They have security checks! You can't just waltz in there and hope for the best!" I shrugged my shoulders.
" Why not? They only stop like three people a day or something. What are the odds they will choose me?" I looked at him my anger rising slowly. I was tired and bored and I wanted to leave. Why was he so intent upon ruining my day? Tyler looks unimpressed. I groan pressing my hands to my head. "I need to go" I pick myself up off the table and leave the room, stomping angrily as I do so.
"Wow very mature." I hear Tyler say sarcastically as I slam the door shut and stomp away.I exit the building and shift immediately. It feels great to finally be able to run in the open, I really needed this. I romp around in the forest for a while until I hear a short sharp noise, like a stick being stepped on. My body goes into full alert mode, and I stand at attention, my ears pricked waiting to heard any sounds. As the noise that I can now tell is footsteps nears I relax recognizing the sent. I shift back into my normal form and decide to freak him out. When he gets under the tree where I'm hiding I jump out and land on his back.
" Ah fuck!" Jace screams as he falls, and I giggle straddling his waist.
"I got you!" I say victoriously, getting up doing a little victory dance. "Go me, go go, go me!" I sing smiling at Jace. He growls playfully before standing up and pulling me into a tight hug. He kisses my forehead gently.
"I love you, even if you cant dance for shit" he says smiling jokingly. I push him away gently and scoff.
" What do you mean I can't dance! I have the grace of a ballerina." I say doing a spazzy pirouette and falling over. "See I'm the best dancer ever." I say sarcastically.
" Yeah sure." He replies. "But I did come here to talk to you about something" his expression suddenly serious. "It's dinner." He says solemnly.
" What?" I say confused." What the hell does that mean? What's wrong?" I ask getting worried. Jace looks down at the ground sadly.
"Its ready, which means I cant watch anymore of your *ahem* incredible dancing." He says laughing at how worried I look.
" You jerk!!" I say pushing him hard into a tree. "Race ya there!" I say with a wink.
"Hey no fair!" I hear him cry out behind me, but I'm too far ahead to hear the rest.
