Scars are Forever

Biana

I sat up slowly eyeing the pool of blood and vomit next to where my head had recently rested. My face stung as the cool air hit the gashes marring my face.

"I will never be beautiful"

My thoughts turned fuzzy as I slowy passed out from blood loss. 

Sophie

"I swear people are trying to one up when it comes to injuries" I laugh lightly hoping to lighten the mood. Bandages cover Biana's face and hands and arms and legs. She was covered in cuts and gashes from the mirrors shattering on her. 

My vision grays around the edge as a headache appears. I stumble back laying on a cot trying to blink away the pain. Trying not to distract Elwin since Biana's injuries are way more important I send a weak transmission to Alden and Fitz.

Fitz

I recieve a weak and quiet transmission from Sophie and I turn to see he laying on a cot nearby. I didn't even notice she had layed down.

* Sophies transmission to Alden and Fitz

" My vission is gray and blurry and I have a massive headache. I think my mind is shattering from guilt."

My heart stops. Of course she feels guilty. In her strange Sohie logic she probably belives that she made us come along and help save her parents and that its her fault Biana got hurt. I know none of this is true but convicing Sophie is always the harder part.

Alden

"Sophie this is NOT your fault" I said firmly

"I checked your mind and it is not breaking you must keep it that way." I cant lose you again. None of us can"

Sophie

Im feeling better as i'm handed medicine to fade my headache. I stand up from the cot and return to Bianas bed side. Transmitting to her I say

"Biana i'm so sorry this happened. I will staying strong for you and not let the guilt break me but please wake up. Your ok and your still beautiful."

Biana

It takes me a moment to understand Sophie's transmission but once I do I cant help but curl my lips into a smile. I hear joyous shouts around me as everyone has noticed my movement. Opening my eyes I sit up and tell everyone to calm down and be quiet. They cant help but laugh at that even in there state of shock.

Elwin gives me a ton of medicins and removes my bandages. I have some faint scars and some more prominent ones but I can deal with them. I'm glad I am conscious again becuase it means I can return to the world of the living.

*Yes even in my condition I can make jokes and yell at people.

Scars might be forever but they wont destroy me. I am stronger than that

Authors Note

I hate how this turned out. I originally wrote this about Sophie for after the destruction at the peace summit. I then changed it to Biana's injuries from the second nightfall. I hate is becuase I kind of made sophie the more important character by default oops. Also there is a ton of perspective switching and the story is not good at all.
