The Secret Behind my Eyes

School.

First day in a new school, after moving from Ohio to Wisconsin, not knowing anyone there. But as I see it, everyone has there own clique, the geeks, the jocks, the wanna be's, the popular girls, the musicians, the gays. I don't know where to sit. I finally found an empty table that i could sit at.

******** AFTER LUNCH ********

I was walking down the halls trying to find my science class as i suddenly bump into Josh Davis, quarterback of the Varsity football team. *bending down to pick my books, as Josh starts bending down* " Sorry about that " i say while blushing. " Its okay. Where you off to? " He said while smiling. " Science. " i said smiling back. " oh, me - gets cut off by Brittney Barnes, head cheerleader, " what are you doing talking to a loser like that? " then i just looked down at my books as my stomach was turning. " hey! don't call her a loser Brittney. you don't know her. so just go back to class! " he said, as she walked off in shock and just rolled her eyes. i asked him " why did you stand up for me? " he said, " because you seem like a nice girl and not a plastic barbie like Brittney and her ' fan-girls '. and like i said she doesn't know you, so why should she be judging you. " i looked up at him and smiled. " so what were we talking about again? oh yea we have science together. better not be late! " he exclaimed.

******** AFTER SCIENCE ********

Before i left to go to my next class, i walked up to him one more time and said, " you know you didn't have to do that back there... i am used to it. back in my old school i use to get bullied because i wasn't the prettiest, or the coolest, or the one that people talked to... i only had one true friend. he was the one that understood all my problems, i could trust him with everything. but that all changed as soon as he broke that trust. he told one of my deepest darkest secrets. i then had no friends and everyone made fun if me. " as a single tear ran down my face, he lifted my head up and wiped the tear off with his thumb telling me " everything is gonna be okay. you will be safe when your with me. i would never tell a secret of yours. " i looked deep into his eyes and i knew he wasn't lying. i just smiled.

******** LAST BELL RINGS SCHOOLS OUT ******

" hey you wanna grab a bite saturday? or we can go see a movie if you want to? " he said nervously. " umm sure. i would love that. " i said not trying to sound too excited.
