╰ CHAPTER FIVE ╮Isabella sits in her brothers personal limo, the long, sleek, and shiny limousine. Her leg jangling nervously as she sat. Betty siting right beside her, looking exhausted and flustered. Turns out, Elizabeth Cooper was not a flyer. She hadn't had best jet experience and was now slowly curling in Isabella's chest. Isabella on the other hand, was just too nervous/excited to be tired, despite the rather long plane ride. The reason she felt on edge because she didn't know how the others would react. Sure, Tony has accepted it easily, but, Tony's is well, Tony. It honestly wouldn't be too surprising if Tony, himself, had been in a poly relationship.
Isabella leg keeps bouncing and she can't help it. Veronica doesn't say anything, she was busy looking out the window at the large city of lights roll by. Veronica was wearing a formal black dress and her signature white pearls for the occasion – very respectable - and makes Isabella worry that maybe she should have put more effort into her wardrobe than usual – she's just wearing her normal black tank top with a leather jacket and black jeans. She starts tapping on her leg. Oh well, too late now. Plus, its just her teammates, she reminds herself. She glanced over at Jughead and Archie who are debating with her brother over what is the best classic movie. Jughead, unsurprisingly, has his money set on Pulp Fiction, while Archie has set on the James Bound or the Mission Impossible movies, but, of course, Tony thinks he right with the pick of the classic Sherlock movies. Isabella can't help the lovingly smile that creeps up to her lips and how she roll her eyes at them. She just loves how Jughead can ramble on and on to defend his love of Quentin Tarantino films and how Archie Just smiles and looks at him with this love sick puppy dog look that just completely melts Isabella heart to mush.
Suddenly,
The limousine slowly comes to a halt as it pulls up outside the large, very imposing tower that's just glaring down at them. There's a large, neon blue Avengers sign on the front of Said tower. It's early in the evening, but the sky is already tinging dark. The air is colder than she's used to, she gotten so too used to Maine's weather rather than New Yorks. Isabella knows the tower will hopefully be warm.
"Well, I guess this is our stop," Veronica muses as she glances at the others. She notices the anxiety that arising to the surface of Izzy face. She smiles reassuringly at her. Isabella looks at her before nodding and smiling weakly. They all slipped out of the limousine before their way inside the Avengers tower. They make their way past the normal security of the tower before they shuffle towards the main elevator with their bags tailing shortly behind them.
Betty curls closer to her her chest as the elevator starts. She yawns and nuzzles her nose against her collar bone which made her blush slightly and only brightens as Jughead wraps his arm tightly around her waist, pulling the both of them closer to him. Archie and Veronica were practically swooning at the adorable sight before them. There was little chatter in the elevator. There was no awkward silence though, instead a comfortable quiet with a backdrop of hum from the elevator. The elevator eventually stops as they come to the main floor of the tower. The metal doors slowly open to reveal an empty living room that is quiet for once, which somehow makes it all worse and furthers her anxiousness. She knows she shouldn't be getting so worked up, but, she can't help it. She just hope they liked them
