╰ CHAPTER ELEVEN ╮
After a rather a very long and kinda awkward breakfast, Isabella Stark easily manages to find her way back to her old lab after a nice long shower and quick change of wardrobe; which she would have preferred to properly do before she was forced to go save their first actual meal of the day. But, she didn't, which makes her feel kinda weirdly grossed out, super sweaty and that's just far from what Isabella would consider remotely the ideal.
She's not even paying attention, not really, when she enters the old lab, but Isabella eyes take in the familiar state of the art equipment and she sighs a little bit. It reminds Isabella of home back in Riverdale. Though, she did feel bit more relaxed in her lab in the tower. Isabella moves about her big lab as she tugs her white lab coat on. She unlike her bother, Tony, was more keen on following the rather mundane lab safety protocols. As she moves about her lab, she pulls out an vast assortment of pieces of her old suite. It's a big variant of things that Isabella wants to not only improve, but reinvent as whole.
"Hey kiddo." she jumps and turns finding her brother already in the lab, of course he would be, it's like his most natural habitat. Isabella grins softly at her brother. They have always bonded over their love of science. Tony moves to her right side to see what exactly she doing. Isabella's compute screen is that of blue prints on staff. She was taking the inspiration of Natasha's spider bites and turning it into a bigger and better staff version.
" So, what do you think? I was thinking that we could probably get away with upping the voltage on them and maybe add few more features to it." she offers back as she slides some other blue prints on to the screen. Isabella then crosses her arms over her chest to stop her fidgeting. Tony nods understandingly as he observes the blue prints.
" Seems legit." He states as he lifts his coffee mug to his lip. She snorts at her bother's responses.
" That seriously all your going to say." She retorts as she shots him a look of amusement. He shrugs carelessly as he reaches over her and grabs some of his own equipment. Isabella then slaps Tony left hand as he goes to touch one of her own tools. " Go get your own." She scolds with playful look. He rolls his eyes in a melodramatic way.
" And, here I thought the general rule was sharing is caring." Tony huffs out in annoyance.
" Whoever told you that was high or lying." Isabella quips as she turns back to her work at hand.
" I'm pretty sure that your one who said that." Tony laughs ridiculously as he shakes his head at his sister. Isabella pauses her and turns to look back at her brother. The raven haired girl just sticks her tong out at her brother in a sort of retaliation. "Seriously? How mature of you!"
The two Stark children laughed at each other's attics and went back to their work. It was relaxing and therapeutic for them. The two siblings love of science and engineering has always been their undeniable passion, and even arguably a coping mechanism for them both as they grew up. So, it was nice for them to be in the same lab again; it was nice that they were working together again. She shoved at her brother with her shoulder and he did same thing. They didn't even seem to notice as time went quickly by. It wasn't till Clint and Veronica came looking for the duo that it was late in the evening.
" Aww! Just look at the nerd twins work." Cooed Clint teasingly as he looked over at Veronica with a grin. Barton moved so that he was leaning on the door frame of Isabella's lab. The two Stark siblings gave annoyed glares to their best friend and teammate. Veronica watch the chaos with smirk.
" We're doing game night nerds!" Cheered Veronica happily as she moves to stand next to Barton. " So, get your asses up to the main floor! Also, we doing teams. So far, the teams are Jughead and Natasha, Me and Clint, Betty and Steve, lastly Archie and Thor. The others are still undecided."
