Historia POV

A hidden mansion was up ahead and we ran to it, I tripped on one of the stairs to go up making James swiftly pick me up bridle style.

He banged on the door with his back repeatedly until a man answered. Haruka's expression was as if he'd seen a ghost he hurriedly pulled us in and called for his wife.

"Juri" he screamed into the house as she ran to us and quickly embraced us "I'll be back."

"No! Haruka wait! It's dangerous" Juri yelled after him.

"I'll be careful" and with that he left.

"Auntie Juri" I whispered as she hugged James and I closer.

"Shhh shhh it's ok. You're in a safe place" she cooed as I saw my two friends walk up behind her.

"Mama what happened to Ja chan and Ria chan" Yuki asked as she rubbed her eyes probably waking up from a nap.

Kaname walked to James as James pulled away from the hug and engulfed Kaname.

"Yuki, why don't you help them get cleaned up and then we'll have something to eat" Juri said as she nodded happily and Yuki grabbed my hand and I gave her a small smile.

"You shouldn't cry Ria! Your face will rot, don't you remember you told me that" she exclaimed as I quickly wiped my tears and nodded but still the tears were endless.

"Yuki, can you go get Ria some clothes while I show them to the bathroom" Kaname said as Yuki nodded and ran off.

"Let's go" Kaname said as I clung onto James and we followed him.

He led us to two separate baths, but we wouldn't go any further.

"You can shower here" Kaname said thinking we didn't know.

I don't want to lose you either James.

He probably thought the same since we went into the same stall and Kaname stopped us pulling James away from me.

"NO JAMES" I screamed and Kaname immediately let go putting up his hands as if he didn't do anything.

We ran to each other and I clung onto him for dear life.

"Don't leave me! Please don't go" I said as I began to cry again.

"Kaname what happened" Juri said coming in.

"I separated them but I didn't think she would react like that" Kaname explained then turned to me "I'm really sorry Historia."

I just hid in James shoulder and continued to cry.

"My this will be a bit troublesome" Juri said in a thinking face.

In the end Juri let us bathe with each other and we had time to ourselves. We helped wash each other's backs and hair.

"James" I asked as he hummed "what are we going to do now?"

I brought me knees closer to my chest rolling into a little ball.

"I don't know, but I know for sure Juri and Haruka Kuran will take care of us" he said as I nodded.

My throat was itchy and I looked back at James as he too looked back at me with the same look. Normal vampires eyes glow a bright red when they're hungry meanwhile ours just glow a slightly brighter blue for a second.

"You go first" he said as I got closer and licked a spot that looked best.

His vein was most noticeable in that area. I slowly placed my teeth on the spot and then quickly bit down so he wouldn't feel that much pain. I sucked a bit of blood since I don't need that much blood but rather more sea water. Once I was finished James bit into me next and he got his share. He quickly rinsed us off of any blood that we left behind and turned off the shower.

Kaname must have secretly came in to drop off our clothes as they were already laid for us on the counter. We dried ourselves and changed making sure to also pat our hair a bit dry.

As we walked out with our towels in hand we were greeted with a very familiar scent. We both looked at each other and ran together downstairs to the entrance.

Sprawled our on the floor filled with blood was Ai, Rosie, and Haruka.

"Rosie! Ai" I yelled as I ran to hug them.

"I was able to get them both out. But William and Elizabeth were no where in sight" Haruka whispered to Juri but we heard.

"So both mama and papa are gone" I whispered as they looked up at me alarmed.

"Rosie! Ai! You better not die" I screamed as I pulled the wet towel over Rosie and James did to Ai.

We cleaned them from the bloody mess they were in while Juri helped us while teaching us how to wrap the bandaids on them.

"I think we should let them get some rest now" Juri commented as we stayed in the room with them.

"I don't honk they're going to leave them" Haruka whispered to Juri as she nodded agreeing.

She brought extra blankets and pillows as James and I both laid down in between Ai and Rosie.

"Historia" James called.

"Yes, James" I asked as I turned my whole body to him and he did the same. In his pockets from his sweats he pulled out two familiar rings.

They were our family's heirlooms. Whenever the Hellsinger's got married it would always be with these rings.

James also pulled out a thin fabric string which he placed through the ring and put papas ring around my neck while he put mamas ring around his.

"I love you Historia and I promise to never leave you" James said.

"I promise to always stay by your side James. No mater what" I said as I hugged him and the rest of the night we hugged each other, but couldn't sleep due to the scene of our own mother being killed in front of our eyes.
