Historia's POV

I quickly regained my energy as we all went to go check up on Kaname and Yuki, making sure to hide all of our scents. I hid Rosie's while James hid Ai's.

Yuki was almost attacked by a level E that we let escape but Kaname was able to easily rescue her. After rescuing her he dropped her off at an ex hunters home. One that we knew all too well. A smile graced my lips seeing that he accepted her and I thought it was time to leave.

"Where to now" Rosie and Ai both asked.

"No matter what" Rosie said.

"We will always and only" Ai continued.

"Stay loyal to the Hellsingers" they both said at the same time as James and I both smiled a ghost smile.

"Let's go then" James and I both said as we held our hand to Ai and Rosie.

As time went by we made sure to always wear disguises. We wore raven black wigs and dark brown contacts. I hid my floor length hair amazingly into the wig that went just up to my chest.

Ai and Rosie changed their appearance as well since they're famous well known servants of the Hellsingers. They wore light brown wigs and light brown contacts.

We entered the hunters Association and quickly became skilled top hunters. Many questioned our backgrounds but we left it a mystery for them to figure out. We made sure to hide our pureblood and vampire scents so as not to blow our cover.

We heard of the tragic incident that would soon take place with the Kiryu's. We befriended them and grew somewhat close to them but not too close so as not to get hurt. We were sent to help them and by the time we got there only one of the twin brothers were spared, Zero.

I took him in my arms as he hugged me back. James and I were closer friends to their sons than we were to them.

I made sure to wrap his injury up as he talked.

"I hate them. No it. I hate vampires. They're monsters" he whimpered in my shoulder as a bit of me was hurt with what he said.

I wish I could tell him that not all vampires are like that.

"Hush now" I sang "Hush now, dear child, don't cry, It's just a lullaby, I won't leave you, Till you close your eyes, Hush now, quiet now, don't cry, It's just a lullaby, I'll tell you sweet lies, I won't leave your side" I continued to sing the repetition of that verse as I took him to a safe place, to Kaien Cross's home.

James knocked on the door for me as the door opened and I put little zero down.

"Ria and Ja! Oh my gawd" Kaien exclaimed as he saw Zero.

We used our nicknames that people close to us only knew as our new names.

"I'm afraid we don't have the potential to care for Zero therefore we'd like to leave him in your hands if that's ok" I said softly a vicie that Kaien isn't use to.

To the rest of the hunters association we're viewed as heartless powerful stunning siblings who hate to be separated from each other and will kill for fun. That rumor was actually my fault when I accidentally snapped one time.

"Ria don't leave me" he said sadly as I looked at him emotionlessly.

"Stay with them" I said as coldly as I could and was about to walk away but he grabbed my waist and clung to me.

I felt a tear fall down my cheek as I tried not to look down at Zero, but even I can't act that cruel. I engulfed Zero in a hug as I heard him silently cry into my shoulder and I let two tears fall down my cheek. I can't show such a weak state in front of Zero. He needs someone mature right now, even though I'm only 5 years older than him.

"Cross-san" James asked as Kaien looked at him "can we drop him off tomorrow. He still needs to go get him stuff so we'll take him to do that and just leave him with you tomorrow."

James tried covering up his reason for actually wanting to spend time with Zero.

"Of course. After all he does need to say goodbye to his home" he said with a warm smile looking at me while I turned the other way hiding my tear stained face.

"Then we shall return then Cross-san" Rosie said and I got up carrying Zero in my arms and hiding his face in the crook of my neck.

So this is what it's like having a child?

"Ah! Ria" Kaien calls as I turned with my hair flowing in front of me and I saw some strands glisten in the light of the moon.

My hair came out of my wig!

"You shouldn't worry so much. Stress will only help you age faster" Kaien exclaimed as I blushed a crimson red and turned to speed walk in the direction of the place I'm calling 'home'.
