"What is going on with you and Zac?" Matt asked me. We're on our first period, Math.
"What do you mean?" I hesitated, trying to pretend that I don't know what is he talking about.
"Kat..." He gave me that look. Daaaamn.
"Alright. Well, nothing's going on. Honestly. He's my labour partner and a pain in the ass"
He just chuckled.
"So you don't like him?"
"Of course not"
With that we continued to pay attention to our Math teacher. My next period gonna be Chemistry. Fuuuun! Note the sarcasm! Finally the bell rang and I made my way to the entrance.
"Hey. Take care, girl. I've heard some dangerous stories about that guy" Matt gave me a hug. He's like a brother I never had. He can be very protective sometimes.
"Matt, you have nothing to worry about. Really. I can handle him" I reassured him with a smile. I really can handle Zac, right?
I sat down on my table in the lab waiting for the others. Zac probably gonna be late again, so I have nothing to worry about yet. I began to continue my novel since I have more than 2 minutes before the class begins. It's about a girl who has a cancer but instead of fighting for her life, she decided to die in peace, but it's not that easy because the people around her.
"What's this?" A voice interrupted me. The next thing I know that my notebook disapeared from my hands. I looked up angrily only to see Zac reading my novel.
"What the hell? Zac, give it back" I started to yell. I hate when people want to read what I write before it's done.
"Seriously, what's this?" He asked again grining.
"None of your business"
"Bitchy I see, again"
"Annoying I see, again" I replied smirking. I am very very angry right now.
"Did you write this?"
"Yes, Einstein. Now, give it back" I gave my hand so he could give it to me. Just before I touched my notebook, he pulled it away again.
"Seriously, Zac? We're not 5" I yelled angrily.
"Let me hear the password" He grinned.
"Please?" Finally, he gave it back.
"It wasn't the password, but you're lucky that I was that kind" He smirked at me.
"Oh my god, you're right. I must be the luckiest girl on earth that i'm stuck with you" I said sarcastically before I sat down.
"The password was i love you zac, by the way" He whispered in my ear.
"Right, how didn't I figure it out?"
"I don't know". Luckily the teacher came in, interrupting our 'little conversation'.
"Morning, class. Well, today you're gonna continue the project. Everybody must work with his/her partner. If you have any question, you can ask me" The teacher anounced. I turned around so I can do the experiment by myself. Acid-base reactions. Great. First task: neutralization reaction. What? What is that?
"Neutralization reaction is when the positive ion from a base forms a salt with the negative ion from an acid." Zac suddenly said. Did he just read my mind? I guess my face just pretty much showed my thoughts.
"Wow. So, you're a smart badass" I blurted out. As a response he just chuckled.
"What makes you think that I'm a badass?"
