Chapter 4: Forest Sheep

Good thing that the elves are adept on using bows, 

We don't know when is that fat guy will attack again, better prepare for worse.

Right now the elves that are able to fight are training how to use bows, Ailmon is teaching them how to use a bow, we created a simple target practice for them inside the settlement.

The Nocturnal wolves are helping in hunting so we are assured in food, I named them in order, since there are five of them, 3 males and 2 females, the 3 males are named Jiro, Taiki, and Natsuko, then the females are Aki and Haruki, right now they're in the forest hunting.

The elves that are assigned in house building are building more huts, I want to upgrade the houses but I have no knowledge in houses.

The system popped up a window, wait I forgot about the blueprints.

I opened the shop and looked at the blueprints, some of them are locked some are not, there is a wooden house here and a log house.

Both of them are 500G each, I bought each, let's see, the requirements for the wooden house are:

Wooden planks 50x

Rope: 30x

Stone: 30x

Planks? I have no sawmills right now, the sawmill blueprint in the shop is locked, then I checked the log house requirements, the requirements are:

Wooden Log: 30x

Rope: 20x

Stone: 20x

I can build a Log house now since it just needs Wooden Logs, I instructed the wood choppers to bring 30 pieces of wooden logs here, they nodded and ran off, I asked Elion to bring ropes, he nodded and ran off too, meanwhile I took out some stone.

I instructed the house builders on how to build the house, at first they were confused, but I further explained, when the others bought the logs and ropes we started.

After 3 house we finished building the foundation of the house according to the blueprint, after a day of building we finished our first Log House.

They were amazed because they said that these houses are only found on Human settlements.

We decided that Elion will live here, but they all refused and said that I should stay here, since I lost because all the elves are against the idea of Elion of living here instead of me I decided to stay here, sorry Elion I'll build a Log house of you next time.

Since the bedding is rags again I checked the blueprints again, I checked the furniture section and found the beds, there is one unlocked though.

Wool bed: 300G

I instantly bought it, the requirements are:

Sheep wool: 5x

Wood Log or Plank: 3x

Rope: 2x

There is no sheep around to take some wool, I left my house and asked the hunters about the Sheep here.

They said that inside the forest there is a sheep called Forest Sheep, an agile magic beast, It's very hard to catch, they said.

But I want to sleep in a soft bedding now, so I decided to hunt.

"System, can you show me the nearest Forest Sheep here." I said and the system popped up

[Acknowledged, Displaying map...]

Then the system showed me the map there is a red dot 500 meters away.

I decided to go, but some of the hunters came with me, Ailmon is busy training the elves so they came instead.

The hunters that came with me are Zaos and Kenia, Zaos specializes on dagger techniques and Kenia is adept on using a bow.

We walked inside the forest, the trees are not so dense the sunlight can still pass through the tree gaps.

"Great Chief, what are we hunting?" Kenia said, Its obvious that she's curious, her eyes are sparkling the moment we left.

"Don't mind her Great Chief, she just admires you, she said the she'll marr-" Before Zaos can finish his sentence Kenia quickly covered his mouth.

"S-Shut it! D-Don't mind him Great Chief!" Kenia said while stuttering and her white face became red in an instant. She likes me? I'm not dense so I know!

Kenia kept knocking Zaos' head over and over again, she's cute though.

We reached where we are headed, It's a place where grass is abundant and there is a sheep there, about 12 of them, they are eating grass while bathing under the sunlight.

"Those are Forest Sheeps, they are agile and flexible sheeps their speeds exceeds elves and humans." Zaos said.

Is that so? The sheep looked like a normal sheep but their legs are unnatural, they have muscles on their legs which is scary, their horns are quite large, their white wool seems to be fluffy enough to make Miss Beelz*bub blush, I asked system about what strategies we should use,

[Answer: Governor should use traps to capture them.]

Traps? I have no knowledge in traps, I'm so useless.

"G-Great Chief, I can set up traps here." Kenia said, she can?!

"Can you set up traps here?" I said, she nodded and took out some ropes and hanged it on some trees.

She takes out a net of ropes from her bag and sets up the trap.

A large net is placed between a large gap of trees.

"Now, Great Chief, the trap is set, we should lure the Forest Sheeps here." Kenia said, I've got the perfect plan!

"We should scare them and make them run through this entrance and the trap will activate." They nodded, so the plan is me and Zaos will scare the sheeps to make them run through that large forest gap and Kenia will shoot arrows there to make the sheeps stop and to make the trap to activate.

Kenia positioned on one of the trees besides the entrance, me and Zaos go around the trees.

I took out my Iron sword and bow, I put the bow and quiver on my back, and the sword on my hip.

I gave the signal to go and Zaos used his dagger techniques to round the sheeps, the sheeps quickly reacted and ran to my direction, that's where I come in! I dashed in and slashed my sword, I hit one of the sheeps, the sheep bleeds and fell down.

The other 11 sheeps ran through where the trap is, after the sheep passed there Kenia shot her arrows, the sheeps became terrified and the ran the opposite, so the trap is crowded with the sheeps and Kenia activated the trap, the other end of the rope has abundant of stones attached and fell down with the rope, the net rose up trapping the sheeps. There the sheeps were caught by us.

I slit all of their throats to stop their resistance.

After bleeding the sheeps I stored them in my inventory.

I praised both of them especially Kenia, she wouldn't stop blushing and fidgeting around, cute!

We came back and saw Jiro and the others came back to and they've hunted... Forest sheeps too, what's more is that there is like 23 Forest Sheeps there.

We three couldn't help but stare and the wolves came to us and sat in front of me, I patted all of their heads and their tails wagged left and right.

I sighed and praised them in my mind more, after that we had a feast that night.

I made 11 Wool Bed and distributed the 10. I gave 2 to Zaos and Kenia, then 2 for Elion and Thalia and the remaining 6 were given to families that have children.
