Chapter 5: Water Magic and a Pasture

The settlement is slowly becoming a village, the infrastructure is progressing but is still not that good.

Since the food is stable, the elves are doing pretty good in this past days.

The children are more cheerful now, the wolves are still hunting wild beasts in the forest.

 We created wooden stakes for defense on the outside, since we don't know when will those humans attack.

The wolves came back carrying dead beasts, and they dropped it inside where the elves butcher the beasts, I though elves don't eat meat, but I guess I'm wrong.

I left the village, I had the wolves accompany me, we walked for 30 minutes and we saw an beast herd, the wolves are ready to jump and kill but I stopped them, I surveyed what beast are those, as I though, cows.

But different, they have long horns, their back legs are pretty much buffed, what the hell? Their colors are different, there are brown and there are white

[Those are Wild Cows, only found on forests, while they are wild they produce high quality milk and meat.]

Thanks system, now that you mention it our settlement lacks something, that's it! Pastures!

I asked the wolves to round up the cows and chase them towards the settlement, they acknowledged it, since the Nocturnal Wolves are powerful beasts in the forest it's no problem.

They chased the cows towards the settlement, I'm already in the settlement to intercept the cows, the cows were running towards us, we created a makeshift fence made up of logs, since we do not have any fences.

The wolves rounded up the cows towards the makeshift fence, after the cows gathered inside we closed the fence.

I patted all the heads of the wolves and gave them meat.

Now then, I asked the builders to build a fence using hardwood, since if normal wood is used they might break it.

They started to create fences, I helped also, after 4 hours of creating a 20x16 fence, I asked the wolves to round up the cows again.

There we made our very first pasture, the elves were so proud, saying this is the first time they created something like this.

Since there are grasses inside the pasture, we wouldn't need to worry about their food.

Now taming it...

[Taming a Wild Cow needs special grass called Deep Green Grass, found inside the forest and also Gloriosa herbs found near the Great River of Isaes.]

After that we set to find this things, I decided to take Zaos and Kenia with me.

"Where are we going Great Chief?" Zaos asked

"We need to find Deep Green Grasses and Gloriosa Herbs." I said

They both nodded and we set out.

First we are to find Deep Green Grasses.

Then a map appeared the grass is northwest where we are.

We walked the path where the grass is.

After walking for 45 minutes we reached it, the color of the grass is deep green, we gathered it as much as we can, and I put it inside my Inventory.

"Now Gloriosa Herbs found on the Riverside." I said

"The Great River of Isaes is located east from here." Kenia said, and we walked again, I'm getting tired though but this two are not, ah, a body of an Otaku sure is not great.
