Chapter 11: The Human Empire.

After the defeat of the Demon Lord, the world is unbalanced, humans have taken the whole continent, they took the possessions of the other races, including their freedom.

Until now, humanity continued to seize what they want.

The Empire has total control of the continent in the present day.

Knights go on expedition to explore uncharted lands, they took control of the mines on the mountain, they made the dwarves labor slaves and worked them in the mines, if they didn't get their quota of the day they will not given food.

The church started an inquisition and was capturing demons and executing them, they also accused human female to be witches which led them to burning.

For the past 200 years, humanity drove the other races to flee from them, The Great Forest of Isaes was the largest forest in the continent.

Other races fled from there, even elves, in the past, elves lived in a peaceful forest.

But because of the church in the past accusing elves to be unholy creatures, this led the humans to attack them, same as the dark elves who fled from their own forest.

The Empire's economy rose up and made them a trading hub of other kingdoms.

The emperor wasn't satisfied of his achievement of being the empire who defeated the Demon Lord, soon he assembled troops to war.

Because of the neighboring kingdom was expanding their borders his greed took over him.

They declared war on them, resulting in their victory, they captured the Kingdom and made them their own.

Until today the humans continued to seize their wants, now their target was the Great Forest of Isaes

In their knowledge, the Great Forest is abundant of resources, the only thing on their way is the strong demons walking around there.

Using their army they continue to expand their territory, even the nearby village were taken by them

It is easy to say that the humans were pretty much warmongers.

"We need to flee! The empire is on their way here!" A beastmen said, he's a cat-folk and they're being attacked by humans, 

The beastmen all ran away, inside the forest, the captured are turned into slaves, the other that successfully escaped were lucky, or unlucky because there are powerful Demon Beasts in the forest, so they're food to those Demon Beasts.

The village were pillaged and burned, the beastmen who fought were dead, and others were captured.

"Go! Get out of here!" A beastmen shouted

"No! Father!" Another beastmen shouted, she was reluctant to run or fight with her father, but her feet wants to run away, but her heart wants to fight, but she was dragged away by another beastmen

"Go! I'll hold them off." The beastmen said as his father was taken away by another beastmen.

The daughter was struggling real hard but in the end her strength escaped out of her body as she saw her father get impaled by a spear on his chest.

The last thing she saw was her father looking at her with a smile on his face, then they escaped through the forest.

The village were razed, reduced to cinders.

"Captain! The expedition was successful!" A knight riding a horse said as he reported to his commander.

"Good, the emperor would be happy." He said
