I let out a scream of excitement as my mom and dad covered their ears with smiles on their faces. "I take it that you got accepted into the school?" My dad said as I bounced in my spot. "Yes! I can't wait to meet everyone and becomes friends with them!" My mom let out a laugh as her and dad got up and hugged me. "I'm so proud of you, Emi. You're going to do amazing, I know you are." She said as I hugged her back with a smile. "Thank you mom! Let me go tell Amaya the good news!" I said as I pulled away raging upstairs as I heard my parent let out a laugh.

I rushed into my older sister's room spotting her on her bed with our younger brother, Haru. Haru looked over letting out a giggle making grabby hands at me saying "Emi! Emi!" I smiled as I closer the door walking over to them as I picked up Haru nuzzling into him a bit saying "Hi there my favorite three year old everrrrrr." Making Haru giggle hugging me back. "I heard a happy scream and you running. What's the news?" Amaya said as I looked at her with a bright smile saying "I got accepted into Hope's Peak Academy as Super High School Level Sweetheart! I got in Amaya!" Amaya blinked before smiling brightly pulling me into the bed with Haru bearing hugging us saying "Congratulations Emiko! I'm so happy for you! I can't wait to hear all the news and stories when you start there! Are you going to tell Makoto?" She said as I let out a giggle and nodded saying "Of course! He's my best friend after all. I'm going to tell him now! See you in a bit." As I put Haru down getting off the bed leaving the room as I heard Amaya say, "Say hi to him for me!" "I will!"

I reached my room stepping inside as I closed the door. I walked over to my desk as I sat down turning on my laptop. Soon enough I got a call from Naegi yo video chat which made me smile. "Just in time." I said as I answered the call. Naegi popped up on my screen with a smile waving to me saying, "Emiko! I have news to tell you!" "Makoto! So do I!" "Want to say our news together!" "Yeah!" I said with a smile as we brought our hands up to count down before saying together, "Three, two, one.. I got accepted into Hope's Peak Academy!" We both froze before letting out a laugh shaking our heads. "Oh my goodness, Makoto congrats!" I said cheerfully as Makoto rubbed the back of his neck with a grin saying, "Thank you, Emi! Congrats to you too! What were you called? Your high school level, I mean." I grin as I fixed the flower crown on my head saying, "I'm Super High School Level Sweetheart." Making Naegi smile saying, "I had a feeling that was your level. For me, I was deemed Super High School Level Luck, seeing as I won through the lottery to be apart of the school out of pure luck." I blinked as I let out a giggle saying, "It's still amazing! Ooooo we have to go out soon and get ready for when we start!" I exclaimed making Makoto laugh saying, "Of course, but let's talk about that later and just talk and get ready to hang out later." "Yeah!" And with that, Makoto and I spoke until we met up later that day to hang out.

- Hope's Peak Academy -

I skipped next to Naegi as I swung our hands together as we headed to our new school, Hope's Peak Academy. "I'm so excited to meet everyone! Can't wait to make new memories and friends and all!" I exclaimed as Naegi chuckled shaking his head a bit saying, "I know you can't wait. Can't believe we're going to be apart of this academy. A place where it holds academics, sports, art, performing arts, and so much more. We're going to actually be with people who also have Super High School Levels. Ultimates! You think I'll be able to survive in a school like this, Emi? I mean, I'm just a normal guy who was just lucky enough to get into the school because of a lottery and deemed 'Super High School Level Luck'." I blinked as I looked at him with a grin saying, "Of course you will! I'll be with you every step of the way!" Naegi blinked as he grin gripping my hand a bit saying, "You're amazing, Emiko.."

We both stopped in front of the gate looking up at the building taking a deep breath smiling at one another as Naegi grinned saying, "Ready to go in?" I smiled with a nod saying, "Definitely!" And with that we started to head over the gate. A new school meaning new beginning! I have so much hope for the future and I can't wait! As Naegi and I stepped through the gates, we froze in our spots. My world started to spin and started to see black spots in my visions. "W-What's going on.. M-Makoto?.." But it was too late, before I could look at him, my eyes shut and everything went BLACK.

And this is where.. My story begins at Hope's Peak Academy.. A place that was supposed to be filled with Hope..
